Personally I like the new setup where clans can get a copy of the freelancer ID and then go back to being a clan with their special little prize in their dirty little hands. All of the "serious" player factions with their own systems and shiplines and such are a waste of the community's energy, IMO. Clans come and go, integrated factions are dead weight forever. When the opportunity arises to delete one (CR being just one example), it should be taken.

Current poll is 4:1 in favor of keeping CR stuffz so I am clearly in the minority on this one.
