The Fall of Bonn

[Echo 7-7]

James Tucker had just walked out of the men's washroom when the alarms started blaring across Bonn Station. Damn it, this was too soon! He would have to figure things out on the fly, now that the station was plunged into Chaos.

He could feel powerful tremors rocking the station. Dashing down the corridor, Tucker pulled out his personal communicator.

What's this? One new message.

"Protect our assets.
Destroy anything that may compromise the project.
You know what to do.
This message will auto-erase."

The screen went dark. Tucker stopped and looked around. The corridor was empty. He reached into his jacket and drew his Detroit Compact Model 5.

He threw the communicator against the wall, cracking the casing. Thumbing the safety off, he put two quick energy bolts into the broken remains.

Tucker was about to continue on down the corridor when he heard another explosion - much closer this time. He turned arounded and headed back. Sounds like they've taken things into their own hands.

The main lights flickered and died. Emergency lights bathed the corridor with an erie red glow.

I have little time.
