Mining competition and ore hauling event.

The overall idea is nice, I think you forgot to say smth about the prize...

I wrote about the prize while you were writing yesterday. It wasn't clear enough though. Thanks.
This is a fast competition and event. If we have five teams the prize will be ~220 million and the escorts will get paid by me for 200-250 million. I think this is not bad at all.

Also that should be purely inRP, and this raises a problem: a BMM miner and IMG miner won't mine together, so make sure that teams are made of the pilots with same affiliation.

We are talking about a gold mining competition. I don't think an IMG miner will try to compete with the BMM miners without the bonus...

for example make it a race which consists of 2 parts: mining and hauling, the first team that delivers 4700 cargo to the specific location, gets the prize.

This is the first thing i thought about this competition but I wanted to make it a little easier. People are not interested to mine a sinlge transport next to them and then haul the ore with a convoy. Imagine what they would think about a race.
Maybe a race will work if the traders can have any ship they want and the distance is small. Something like mining in Humboldt's silver field and hauling the ore in California Minor.

But, it seems people are not interested in competitions / events like these.
