...Did I.... miss something?

Schroeder halted, the door swinging open in front of him. He froze still, his gun pointed forward. This had not been expected. Standard operating procedure was to kick the door in, not to have it opened for you. The finger resting in its place on the gun's trigger twitched, tensing at the sudden discovery. With his squad members on the sides of the hallway in preperation for the breach, Schroeder was the only one visable as the man stumbled into the doorframe.

"...Did I.... miss something?"

Unterscharleiter Schroeder recognized the language as English, but was not able to make out the meaning. The situation was simple enough however. Keeping perfectly still, the Unterscharleiter examined his prey. His observation was confirmed as one of the members to his side spoke.

"Er trägt eine militärische Uniform. West Point Marineuniform. Libertonian."

Schroeder felt his finger tighten on the trigger. He now wished he hadn't loaded the stun rounds as ordered.

Ich sehe es. Was sollen wir tun?

Er ist offensichtlich ein Spion. Ich sage, wir töten ihn.

The trigger itched against his finger.

The Unterscharleiter, having stood still this entire time, hefted his gun upwards, aiming at the head of the creature in-front. Loudly, he proclaimed...
