Request for cruiser class vessel is denied. At this point only the most senior members of the Black Talon function will be authorised to pilot anything larger than a Gunboat. Indeed even gunboats are restricted to minor officer class. It has been previously mentioned that the proliferation of Capital ships is often viewed as a corporations inability to defend itself from fighters or bombers without the aid of Capital ships.
I am however sympathetic to your cause and have noticed you have on many occasions been required to patrol the Sigma regions on your own due to your shift pattern. Under these circumstances I will give you authority to raise a Gunboat. You have the option of requisitioning a rheinland gunboat but under no circumstances should you set in course the construction of a cruiser. At this point only myself and mr Cummings are permitted to fly cruiser class ships. it is our desire until further notice to maintain our credibility as a corporation without the need for proliferating Capital ships.
