WoW Love or Hate?

I've been planning to pickup WoW for a while, right now i'm waiting on a new computer. WoW looks like it has alot more social elements in it than Freelancer IMO, and i was told the map or "world" is large enough so that it will take you days to cross it. this to me represents the possibility of exploration, i can't resist that. I love swords and things, and fighting beats and whatnot, but when i crave endo-steel on endo-steel action, i'll come back to discovery. And when i need to be insade a hot mech, i'll play mechwarrior 4. Simply put, each game has different strengths and weaknesses, and they shouldn't be compared. My general quam with freelancer nowadays is the boredom which comes with trading. That, and noone on discover seems to want to socialize. I'm no shut-in on anything, but most of my friends are drunks and stoners, and on a saturday night, I'd rather be inside my Border Worlds Transport listening to good music and exploring Tau systems i've never seen.
