While that is allowed by the rules, it will get you in trouble. There have been plenty of people before you who have escorted people of different factions throughout house space and whatnot. It is rather frowned upon to escort players that arnt of your own ID (unless you are a freelancer looking for escort work.) Doing so is seen by some as metagaming, and others by poor taste.
The idea has been done before. I will give you an example as to why this is frowned upon so that you might understand.
Back int he day, Rheinland used to be OORP bountyhunter land. Every trader would be silently drifting around the house, and all of them owned BHG cruisers. Whenever a pirate would log, all the traders would log on their indie BHG caps and chase all the pirates away. It killed house activity. There were no pirates for the military to play with, there was no safe way for the traders to pirate. Seance they were BHGs, they would go to other houses as well and the same problem would happen. This eventually ended in the banning of all BHG caps from house space by server rules.
To use zoner caps may have a similar result.
Now, if you want to escort, ALG, i would encourage you to use military IDed players like you are currently doing. yes, it is limiting, but that is the point. If you want to go everywhere, use freelancer IDs. You will be limited to gunboats, but it is the price we have to pay for the balance of the game.
With all the above said, there is nothing i like more then new players!
