Doc could only sigh, "Based on what I'm reading, I know of no cure but that doesn't mean that there isn't hope. There is ALWAYS hope. Sometimes, we just need to work at it."
He then began looking up some medical information on gene therapy. It wasn't something he dealt with much and it was still a mystery to the medical field.
"Ian, I'll be honest. I don't know how long this will run it's course, what will happen or anything. DNA is a tough field. You change or remove even one gene, it may well alter who someone is. This is also something that I'm not specialized in but I do have a man on Med.Force.One who studies it. I will forward this information to him. For now, I can either give you a place to stay here or you can return. It's up to you, really."
