"I've been witness to quite a few disappointing sorties in Leeds, all of them have ended in a similar story, either Gallic forces were completely destroyed, or were forced to retreat. Neither of these are acceptable. The Breton Armed Forces might have seasoned and veteran pilots due to the Kusari war, however, we have the better technological capabilities, superior firepower, and veteran pilots.
Though, I do have one minor victory to report, as I was checking up on Gallic Secondary Pilots running combat sorties into Leeds, I came across a battle between one such wing engaged in combat with Armed Forces and Bowex pilots. While I observed, I notice that these... secondary pilots... were actually capable of holding their own, something our pilots can't see to do, or so I thought.
The fighting dragged on for a bit longer than I would have liked, and I eventually was forced into combat to even the odds. Hostile forces managed to down one of the allied bombers, but soon lost one of their own vessels to my hands, a few minutes later a lone Colonial ship arrived and went down mere minutes after it's arrival, again by my hands, as did the last allied pilot on my side.
Eventually, the Bowex fighter and I continued the fighting until I scored a lucky hit, 'cause the Bowex pilot to withdrawal from the fight.
I feel that this should be the beginning of more combative victories into Breton space."
