Nomads?

for what i know - treewyrm said to open up the faction a little more sooner or later. he knows my critizism about the keepers - much of it originates from their numbers, making engagements "precious" and hard to balance. + i am watching how the keepers deal with delta ( only care for delta/kappa ) and with what ships. so far its been OK - not perfect, but its been allright. the roleplay has vanished in the last attacks - they have only been.... attacks.

now for the right of other players to be nomads. AoM has a point, a valid point. it makes no difference if someone plays a trial period for 99 years - or comes up with something instantly. both ideas can be excellent, yet completely different. however - as an advice - there is the nomad light fighter for sale. it does NOT make you green to nomads of course - but it ll give you the feeling of how other people treat you. you don t need to be a keeper to use the NLF ( the public version, not the original with the lvl10 shield and lvl10 guns of course, thats keepers only ) - it requires only your own nomad roleplay or whatever roleplay you wish ( i stole it, now its mine:laugh:).
but be asured, you won t be welcome in many places - aswell as you will have your docking rights denied at freeports - and you will be reported if you still dock there. i don t think most other factions will like to see you - so your radius of operation is limited to somethign around the kappa planets, cause they are "no mans land" ( unless you count apes as men )

personally - i consider "das wilde" as a much much more resourceful RP playerfaction, too. and i am waiting for a good NOT INVITE ONLY playerfaction of the wild. hey, they come with 2 wonderful systems and at least 3 bases of their own! + one of the best gunboats ( scorpion.... cause we know that the nomad gunboat is ... well as useful as the bretonian:P) so - IF i was to make a faction in that direction, i d much rather try to create a wild faction. they are much much more dangerous for sirius, are much more influencial and have many more contacts within sirius ( remember the two freaks in rheinland? - bet there are more )... the nomads are "only" the watchdogs, they shouldn t come out into the open too often - thats what the wild is doing. furthermore the wild is involved in the contruction of the o-58 hyperjumpgate. they have an ambition... the nomads ... well, are just loitering in omicron space. ( i know i know, that was exaggerated )
