We manage fine for the most part Exile, the trick is you have to encourage them to buy a, in my case, Titan, because you say this

Which is what we say to Corsairs who dont have a Titan. With the wieght that the 101st carry on the server, it shouldn't be too hard to do this on your side.
Think about it. Why do most of the independants we have use Corsair ships? Because we tell them to, thats why.
About the Arwing. It turns like the Decurion, but most importantly, doesn't look Corsair in the slightest. I love ArWings, Lylat wars is still one of my Fav games, but it does not fit with the Corsair looks and we dont use them. Even if we did, it would be like using a Decurion, which is useless.
Missiles, I use them to on some other characters, and they are very useful, Yet, I dont want to instakill myself with a cannonball thanks. Its easy to render one of your gun slots useless if your enemy has a CD...
