Jamez, do what you want. Use the bs shield on gunboat if you want, until igiss doesn't say it is forbiden screw anyone else.

Fire, and everyone..

There are two people who decide what is forbidden in the server and what isn't, and that's Igiss and Me. I'm the server admin, and I'd much like to keep the server as "fair to everyone" as possible. I've seen how the somtaww gunboat can mount BS shields, and trust me... I didn't like the outcome. THREE on ONe, and the damn ship never took a dent in the shield.

Battleship shields on gunboats I don't think is a very bright idea for two reasons.

1) the Gunboat isn't a battleship, nor should it be able to take them on head-on alone.

2) the increased hit points of the battleship shield makes them next to impossible to kill, even with me firing Infernos. I haven't tested it completely, but the firepower of my advanced battlestar's enough to take it out. The gunboat is, however, about as maneuverable as a cruiser, making it a bit of a target. iot's also smaller, so if you manage to get it to turn fast, it'll be come hard to hit.

Personally, i'll only allow BS shields on either Battleships or Cruisers. Nothing else.

Cruiser shields on cruisers or gunboats.

Gunboat shields on freighters I think i would allow.

igiss could agree to this or he could tell me to shut up.. :)
