Aye, I agree. But the boxing one clearly was, the Azerbaijani hitting the canvas 5 times, the holding without getting warned in the last round, the referee getting sent home, and the win reverted to the Japanese boxer...
The badminton, it wasn't foul play but rather unsportsmanlike behaviour, promoted by a bad tournament structure. Still scandalous though :-)
EDIT: The documentary was one of the BBC's running "Newsnight" thingies. It was aired here in Denmark under a different name, so I can't remember the title, but I know the BBC aired it 22. September last year. There's a notice from BBC News' website regarding it, and I reckon if you live in the UK or use a UK proxy server you might be able to dig it up from their "iPlayer" archices.
