I had the same thing happen to me. Downoload the DS Account Manager v1.1, extract it and then run it. After setting the paths, click OK and then allow it to update the player database. Once it's done that and is sitting at the GUI, close it out and then run DSAccountManager 1.4. Don't know why this works but it did for me. I actually tried using the 1.4.1 version, but it keeps saying that the program has stopped working. 1.4 works great though.
