These are the ones that actually sound remotely good ...
If people can't use the barge in any way they'll just move to the next best thing, so there's little point in nerfing the hell out of something so much that absolutely no one flies it ... it's huge, it's easy to pirate as it is, damn near impossible to pilot ...
As for removing it's cruise engines, yes because it reaches cruise speed incredibly fast and can outrun and outmaneuver even a light fighter ...
What I really can't understand is: why do people constantly try and nerf other people's toys around here. C'mon! Just play the damn game and enjoy it, I doubt that seeing something as huge and as easy to shoot down as a barge really ruins your game ... Why is everyone getting so bothered by it ?

From everything I've read in this topic I have to stay, this is the most interesting idea around. A POB that looks like a barge, with more cargo capacity than the normal POB and the ability to build even more storage depots would be pretty damn awesome. (even if the additional depots are only internal and on the outside don't change the appearance of the barge at all)
