Right, this entire thread, is about the outcast supposed 'higher technology,' caused by their cardamine 'enhanced' minds....now, that, as Outcasts, you RP to believe...but there is no cannon evidence that Cardamine does anything except for extend the lives of the outcasts (and lower their fertility rates) Outcasts Believe they have accelerated minds, and so do their cronies,(Lane hackers, here) who, if you pay attention to their rumors, are quite deluded. If cardamine was so beneficial, it wouldn't be outlawed. As it is, its the Corsair npcs who are stronger in combat, and the rumors say that corsair tech is better. The Outcasts are an entire culture dependant on a drug, and is it any wonder that they tell each other stories of the 'benefits' of the drug? Because, otherwise, they are just addicts.
Player counts has nothing to do with ship balance. Its a ridiculous argument, and very narrow minded.
My faction, is outnumbered, and has possibly the worst ships in the game. Our principle enemies, fly some of the best ships; Chimeras, Vipers, IMG Gunboats. But, we chin up.
The outcast side of this discussion continues to use their character's RP to justify an OOC discussion of balance. Disco, as I understand it, has nothing to do with what Its inhabitants believe, and to use what is essentially an Outcast Religion, to justify a real world imbalance, is ludicrous..Do you care at all about being fair?
