I record these details for my own eyes alone, should I need to reference what I...saw.

As the haziness finally cleared, I was in blackness. It stretched out before me, behind me, all around me. The entity seemed to be contemplating me as I floated in the void. Seconds passed. Minutes. Then the visions came. A vision of the Eiffel Tower, one of Gallia's most memorable monuments. The entity had recognized where I was from. The Tower slowly disappeared in a beam of blinding light, and before me stood a figure. It is...hard to describe what it looked like, as it appeared covered in some form of light. I could vaguely make out two arms and a torso however., indicating a vaguely humanoid appearance. A voice echoed in my head, imploring me to understand, to put into perspective. I waited.

Flick.

There was a dusty planet, orbiting what seemed to be a binary star system. An armada of ships moved in, design unlike *anything* I had ever seen before. They settled, and built. Time passed in a blur, as cities rose and fell. Local species were subjugated or destroyed by their will. They dominated and flourished. Structures, massive in size and scope were being constructed on the planet.

Flick.

Massive ships and structures rose into the sky. Predominant among them was a gate of immense proportions, guarded by forms I recognized. They were Nomads. They begin construction of...something, around one of the stars, until the violet star is near invisible to the eye.

Flick.

In a blink, the star and the gates are...gone. Loss of the violet star destabilizes many planets' orbits, and they float away into the endless void. Even...Malta, It's recognizable now is on a decaying orbit, hanging on by a tether...

Flick.

It all ended, I was face to face with the figure again. It approached me, and spoke. Spoke being a relative term, as I understood it, it was a tearing slideshow of visions and stills, left to me to decipher. They weren't difficult to comphrehend...pain, loss, endless void. Betrayal. And in the middle of it all stood this figure in front of me. I felt the weight of age on it's thoughts, and knew that it was Harbinger, the eldest.

It gave me a brief glimpse into the wonders of the collective conscious, fleeting as it was, it confirmed my thoughts. And when Harbinger bid me speak, I was ready. Words would have to be carefully chosen with a timeless entity like this one. I let minutes pass before I spoke.

"I...realise the path humankind has taken, full of strife and pain and suffering. I have wished for an end to this, for order and peace and progress....I wanted humanity to be liberated. As I am, this is nearly impossible for me...until I was told of you and yours. The collective conscious, if humanity can utilise it would be the step that would lead us to...an end to our eternal folly. We stumble, commit the same mistakes again and again because we cannot remember. To remember our mistakes, to care for the whole, that is my wish."

I took a deep breath and continued on.

"To that end...I wish to aid your kind in helping Gallia and humanity achieve their true potential, as sapient beings. To that end, I am your tool and your weapon. But... Humanity will never accept what I propose willingly. There will be years and decades of war, as I see it ,before they'll submit to the greater good. War is the need of the hour. Speak to me of war, Harbinger. Please...give me the tools and memories I need to wage war, to lead.....and to dominate."

I ended on a low note, still uncertain whether I had made the right move.
