The Katanfreia, a battered Kusari Destroyer, sat silently in Leniex's embrace. The crew on board were preparing the ship to move out for the first time in weeks. It had been caught in a battle and had been severely damaged. Its hull had been patched and repaired with the Legion's iconic gray and red plating. This gave the ship a gaunt and haggard look, combined with the ship's overall grimy appearance.
Fuel lines detached, mooring magnets released. The Speaker called out on local frequencies,
"This is the Katanfreia. Requesting escort to the Magellan system"
As the ship departed Leniex, two Prosecutors took up a position on either side of it. Cruise engines charged and the three vessels disappeared into the murky yellow cloud.
