Open letter to LSF and USS

This whole argument is kinda pointless - Here's my take... i have NO problem with Corsairs making runs to Manhattan, or being escorted in force for that matter - it makes perfect RP sense, they want to make money. they make money with artifacts, they want it to get there and as MANY people have said, the mod makes it so Manhattan is the only route worth taking.

That being said, i have NO problem with the LSF et al patrolling, in force to stop these things happening, Zone 21 is restricted, smuggling is bad, pirates have big guns, so.. try to stop them, this makes EQUALLY perfect RP sense. Why there is even an argument i don't know.

This argument for me is the MOST irrelevant point anyone can raise. So what if they are not? if you think the FL universe is a static and unchanging one then sure, stick to this, but heres the thing, the MOD changed the rules of the universe, the universe adapted. It doesnt matter a hoot where NPC's are.. you dont see NPC LSF in Delta, or Mollys in NB, or outcasts in Omega 5 either, but the players are there - big deal, get over it.

The news on Manhattan even says the the Navy owns that jumpgate and that it is restricted to civilians or those not of the Liberty Navy for four.

Yes, it does, which means that the navy etc can/should police it, knock yourselves out - but don't expect Corsairs, who are not civilians but are CRIMINALS, and have lots of guns to back them up to pay ANY attention to liberty laws.. if they did, they wouldnt be smuggling artifacts in the first place would they?

Corsairs can attack why? Thats none.

No actually, the corsairs can attack why? because A: THEY CAN (it's as simple as that, its not their job to worry about whether Liberty likes it or not. and B: they have a vested, and IMPORTANT economic interest in liberty space, (made more important by the mod) and NO ONE is going to stand idly by while their transports, carrying their ECONOMIC LIFELINE are being shot at or intercepted.. and C: regardless of whether anyone likes it or lot, the genie is out of the bottle on this one now, the LSF has a presence in Omicron Delta all the time - none of this is OORP, in fact its RP answer to in game events... go with it! it makes it flexible and fun![/b][/i]
