Open letter to LSF and USS

Just because someone can, its a bad reason, and does not support RP. LSF going to gamma=mistake, Corsairs in Z21=no sense...

Ok - point taken, just because you can do something doesn't mean you automatically should, that part was badly worded in my last post- my point was more that the corsairs CAN do it, they are powerful enough to do so, and have a big enough reach across Sirius. They also can do it because they don't give a toss whether liberty wants them to or not - they're criminals:)

As i already stated - pretty clearly, it makes perfect sense for Corsairs to escort their traders to Manhattan. And if they get overzealous sometimes and start shooting... well... they are pirates?....
No one, i repeat NO ONE is going to stand by and do nothing while their economic lifeline is threatened. Corsairs grow rich off the trade of artifacts - the only place to trade that in the mod and make money is Manhattan - End of story, seeing Corsairs in Manhattan is a fact i think Liberty is just going to have to deal with. Perhaps its an oversight in the mod, in the original, you could make money taking them to Kusari, or the hogosha, or even Rheinland, but no more - and until this is changed in the mod, the pirates are going to go where the money is, simple as that - to NOT go there, because of some vague NPC locations that doesn't even apply really now that the mod has been changed, would be REALLY OORP.
On the flip side - Seeing Liberty Forces in Corsair space as a response to these actions also makes perfect RP sense - The problem is that in doing these things, both sides leave holes in their defenses back home - but hey, this is RP, people make choices, not always good ones... while Corsairs are dodging through liberty in cap ships, traders are running around unmolested in Omega 5... (oh.. wait pirate cap ship cant engage traders can they, only lawful ones are allowed to when they engage "smugglers" er.. pet peeve of mine but anyway) And while the LSF is sending people to Omicron Gamma.. the Lane Hackers are helping themselves to Traders in Magellan and California....



I agree btw - that Molly's shouldn't be in NB - they are a small local faction, and have no overhwhelming interest there really... but im sure they could RP a reason to at last make a guest appearance from time to time. When it comes to Outcasts and Corsairs though - these are the big players in piracy and i think that it makes sense to see them in various unexpected places...

yeah, true, good point and as i said, badly worded on my part - but actually, i can think of a RP reason for all of those players to be in all of those systems:)Xenos - well, they dont like anyone anywhere, pretty easy. Keepers in Dublin? don't they believe ALL of sirius used to belong to their masters anyway? RM policing brettonia - "we're doing it because you can't" which would start a war of course, but hey, in RL countries do that kind of thing all the time.
But yes... you're right, we do have to have some limits... my point is i just think Corsairs in Manhattan is'nt out of place.

I would also argue, that the LSF really shouldn't fight the Corsairs....if they've found gamma, the corsairs should point them toward Malta, and end the common enemy.
