Look how small the cockpit... It's like a 2-seater LF
I bet you could get the same effect by building a ship around Challenger body, rather than another one built around cap parts, as I said already.

The painters were "drawing" the bretonia destroyer by starting from the scratch. The first "capital ship" on the right side is the first "destroyer" but its so small and only operational with 2 men crew. Its still not a ship but a concept leading to the destroyer. Thats why, considering these "guidence" the creators of Fl left us in the concepts plus the ship design and its elements (bridge(not rdy yet), body(shell), engine(tail), weapon platform) - its logical that the ship concept is from the "cap" family instead of the "snubs".

Bretonia gunboat is fine as it is, if you don't know how to fly it properly don't blame the ship.

Thank you for your oppinion but probably you missed the point and repeating it multiple times will definitely wont change anything but ... the gunboat "as it is" is fine for fighting other gunboats - confirmed by the bretonian community - but its lacking strength against snubs. The gunship is going to be opposite - lacking against gunboats, stronger against snubs. Thats the best way to solve the 'anti snub platform problem' and in more interesting way by adding something new to the faction that never receives anything.

Also, the model look like you took the destroyer and shrank it, I kinda love the way each model has something unique about it.

Arent these two similar: Battleship Carrier? Yes they are but thats why they are unique cuz they are following one ship line properly.

To have similar ships is not bad and check this - comparison between all bretonia caps. They look fine, similar and yet different/unique. From this comparison you can see how different the gunship is next to the destroyer. The only similar thing and also most obvious is the - weapon platform, which is standart bretonian ship tool.
