Hm? Is that a way to turn the thread in to "templar balance" ? If no then why you stated it? Where exactly did I said something about that in the things you quoted? My point was, during so many updates for years its clear that due to the lack of dev/modder on bretonia side - bretonia receive nothing. Now there is a chance to receive something.
As for the balance of the ships - not my concern.
Then just vote for No and use the bret gunboat primary. No need for further complications. If you dont like it - you dont like it.

I don't mind Bretonians getting stuff, I do mind when the reason for it is: "Our stuff are bad" and FallenKnight, give me a break you are one of those who wouldn't stop crying about how templar is a bad ship, how Challenger is a bad ship and now you moved to Bretonian GB. This attitude from you existing for long, long time. But if you wish to hear the harsh truth - there is nothing wrong in Bretonian equipment.

Your bomber is designed to tear up heavy stuff, and what a wonder - both mollies and GRN (2 of your main enemies)
use heavy capital ships!

Your VHF is pretty damn good, and so are the guns. (Plus the fact that if you don't like them you can always use flashpoints which are also quite good).

Your gunboat is RIP AND TEAR for other gunboats, and a bit more effort for fighters/bombers, yet with its core and arcs and TS it's also good at that, not excellent - but good.

Destroyer - quite lacking ship against other destroyers and smaller craft, but can hold its ground against both Scylla and Obstinate, very good against Battleships, especially the heavy kind (someone said Valor?)

BS - the cherry. One of the best battleships in the game, maybe even the best.

So no, BAF don't need new stuff, especially not a gunboat - if anything their HF which is completely lacking. (Though a small change in stats can fix that).


As for the model, I personally don't like it being the same as the Destroyer but again personal opinion. (Also doesn't look much like a light GB btw)
