Do you mean the old textures or the new ones?

Both. The new one appears to be a simple recolor of the old one. Stretched, basic metal textures all across the ship, no variation, no consideration for interconnecting hull panels, not much continuation of the texture onto new faces.

Your earlier comparison of the Rheinland Battleship and Carrier is a good example of what's lacking in this texture.

See how the BS has so much variation? The three rounded bits along the middles section, the panels above and below them, the plating over the engine, the fighter bay, that angled panel on top, most of the nooks and crannies, they all have their own, unique textures and hues, showing that these are all different components made of different materials. The textures are angled and aligned properly to show that the different parts of the ship connect, and different colors on different parts to add some variety.

Now look at the Carrier. The same, light greenish metal plating texture pasted everywhere, with some windows tossed in. I can't tell what's part of what, because it all looks the same. No differentiation in building materials, no differentiation in color, no indication of which component sticks out from which.

Your Bretonian Gunship is to the vanilla Bretonian Gunboat as that Rheinland Battleship is to the Rheinland Carrier.

As for the oppinion about the model - well indeed the bret ship line is strange but using their vanila style to build a new ship similar to that line is what was required.

I can see that you were trying to emulate the Bretonian style, but the similarities are really only evident in the general shape itself. I think of Bretonian ships as being fuller, rounder machines with a lot of thickness to them. Sure, they've got pieces that look a bit thinner than the rest, but that's only in the context of everything else on the ship. The vanilla GB and Destroyer have solid, swooping "wing" pieces. This thing has thin, rigid panels holding onto a platform with similar dimensions.

The ridges on the back also look just a bit too pronounced to me. In relation to the size of the overall ship, they're a major contributing factor to what makes this look like a spooky, hunchbacked skeleton carrying a tea tray. Try filling in the gaps around those spines just a tiny bit. It might make the body look more solid.

The simple dome beneath the bridge also bothers me just a tad. I feel as though instead of being its own, separate piece, it ought to flow backwards onto the underbelly of the ship, giving it a more solid appearance and making it more than... well, an uninspired inverted dome. And the fact that the dome protrudes that far out makes it look like a skeleton with a wicked underbite. Adds to the aforementioned creepiness.

Oh yeah, and that curved piece of flat metal covering the point where the "wings" connect to the body? What's up with that? That thing is ridiculously thin. Your ship seems to have a handful of flat, thin metal bits poking out which really detract from the thick, ridged-and-rounded Bretonian style. I'm also referring to those two extra turret platforms coming out of wings here. Aaaaaaand that split fishtail is similarly spindly. Why not take inspiration from the Templar there? Thick, rounded, and it comes to a point at the ends. That'd look nice.

Basically, put some meat on those bones! Beef up the model without making it "bigger". Add some thickness to it, give it some real curves, and make it stop giving me nightmares. Please. I've been up all night, and now I don't know if I'll ever get to sleep. I'll dream of giant-jawed, hunchbacked, flying skeletons trying to serve me tea. Can you think of a more terrifying scenario?
