Konnichiwa!

Today I went through my final orientation into the company, and was given captaincy of the Bumblebee-class Transport Midori. I don't think the crew fully trusts me, perhaps because I am younger than most... Or perhaps because I am a woman. I hope to gain their trust and loyalty soon.

My first task was to take a shipment of Basic Alloys to the station that I am told will become my new home-port, Shiojiri Storage Depot. We arrived without mishap, despite the long trip to the Nagano system. Not long after unloading, I was contacted by by Captain Kei Tanaka of the Hakudo Maru who told me that I had been assigned to run ores from the nearby platinum mines to Planet New Berlin.

Tanaka-san and the Hakudo Maru were on the same assignment, and so we traveled together. The trip was mostly uneventful to Rheinland and back with supplies for the base, other than some Outcast and Unioner sightings that caused us to burn fuel a little harder to make sure it wasn't a problem.

The Midori and her crew's shift has ended, and they sleep soundly for now. Hopefully tomorrow when we take to the stars alone I can build some trust in them, but for now I must sleep also.
