A quiet celebration.

The taxi pulled up outside the Rolling Stone. They weren’t late, but Jasmine Greenson thought they probably were.

“Right, so, just relax and have a good time. It’ll be nice.” She said, in a vaguely hurried manner. Jasmine had taken the recovering Natalie Cahoone under her wing. She was a nice girl, she thought, but this probably wasn’t going to be an easy night.

‘Don’t drink too much, Jas' she thought to herself as she climbed out of the cab, waiting for Natalie to follow her.

Natalie looked through the window for some moments, it had been a long time since she had the chance for something like this, but instead of happiness she only felt nervousness. She sighed and left the cab.

“Do you think this is such a good idea?” She asked Greenson. “I mean, the last time I’ve seen them, it didn’t really end well...”

“Honestly Nat, I’m sure it’ll be fine. They’ll at least understand that things were a little... Different then.” She paused and looked at Natalie with a smile. “Just don’t get horrendously drunk... If you don’t want to talk to someone, you don’t have to, and if you feel like leaving at any point, then we can just go. No pressure. Just enjoy yourself.”

Greenson turned and walked into the slowly filling venue, she glanced around for friendly faces and weaved her way through the gathering crowd towards the bar.

“What’re you drinking, Nat?”

'She seems to care more about me than for herself. I feel myself like an obstacle...' Natalie thought while she had followed Greenson to the bar. She could not really remember any of the people there, she was not really focused on it.

“Uhmm...something strong. I don’t really care what it is.”

Before Nat had answered, Jasmine handed her a full glass before grinning and turning around to see who else was there.
