In general I agree with you however there are many classes where people look at function first and then decide on features separately. Should we combine LF/HF/VHF since they are all fighters? Should we combine all freighters and transports? Transports are like fighters, they are bought for their functionality and then features come after, so splitting them by sub-class is the correct way. Also transports are ID restricted so combining <3600 and >3600 serves no useful purpose for comparison. Well, it serves a purpose if you are have a proper ID and want to compare something like the BW DL to a Stork, but that makes no sense either, and at that point you should be able to look at them separately anyway. Battletransports and Liners are functionally different enough to have them separate as well (less than the full 5k because of massive size, hull, guns, etc makes them different from the 5ks)
But putting the BTs back into the commercial transport section is NP and makes some sense. Usually I look at them for the guns and hull but I can see how a beginner would want to compare them to other ships. --done
"Civilian Transport" just refers to "can be used by freelancer ID" and does not require faction ID. If you can think of a better term use it.
