Maybe the good doctors should study why their life expectancy is much shorter then normal low iq dumb folks.

Stress, heart disease. Seeing as you've done the job of arrogantly stating they have higher IQs, I'll go ahead and blame that stress on their frustrations over said low IQ dumb folks. It has been studied. In fact, it's probably been studied more.

Redfire, your first post is largely invalid as you've assumed they're using a correlational method. It's actually a quasi-experiment or "natural" experiment and as such does go some way to suggesting causation.

Finnegan, the sample size they've used isn't actually that bad. It's a longitudinal report. It took 4 years. Doing many more people would have been impractical. Which is exactly why experiments are designed to be replicated - it will be done more, and there'll be more evidence to suggest their hypothesis. Regardless, it's not that bad a sample. Data is more frequently extrapolated than you seem to think. Not everyone in the world can be surveyed.

If you haven't read any of the above parts, don't worry, it's relatively individual. Simply;
Cannabis and marijuana usage have been shown to:

• Dramatically increase incidence of anxiety disorders
  
• Dramatically increase incidence of cancer
  
• Cause schizophrenia
  
• Stunt brain development and other growth
  
• Cause permanent damage to unborn foetuses
  

Before anyone then retorts with "alcohol/tobacco is worse", consider if that's really that much of an argument at all, and then consider if I ever said I endorse those.
