' Wrote:I'm a bit confused, in that the principles contradict each other. This is in itself isn't a problem, since vigilante groups have a habit of that sort of thing.
However, ensuring both a fair trial and human rights as well as executing people that don't live up to these standards might be very awkward for you, since a fair trial would probably require a judge and jury, which you won't be. If you only execute people after a fair trial, well, you're not doing your cool vigilante thing.
If you're attacking smugglers outside of Barrier Gate, you can't make them have a fair trial, since, effectively, drugs are legal there and you can't take them to court.
Less fair trials, more sticking the boot into peoples' teeth.:)
Then again, leaving the contradiction could be interesting and create opportunities, but I see this as possibly causing unfun confusions.
You are right about this problem. I noticed it as well as I was reading it again.
I will try in the next ten minutes try to rephrase a few things in the principles section. That whole Fair Trial should probably go away as well.
Another thing which is very important to remember. Just because we only attack Liberty Rogues or Lane Hackers if they do something illegal, dosen't mean they can go around as they feel like in Liberty. We will be watching them and sometimes you will find that you will be attacked for "un-logical reasons" regarding what "criminal activity" actually is. Therefore I'm removing the whole section that says:
"What is considered a crime." Everything except contraband.
