Discussion about BSG's roleplay.

Ok, ok guys, you are getting very close to flaming, time to calm down.

I would like to add some things in CR - BSG relations. First to mention none of them are officially Doom or Yngen aprooved. I am trying to show my view on the situation.
As Doom said, there was a big change in BSG, directing to creation of two BSG factions. Most of us were just sick of fighting and fighting over and over again, with no reasons or RP behind that, just because we used to fight, we should not stop fighting... Thats just wrong.
CR has its own goals, very different from BSG. We have very strict roleplay terms, all recruits have to pass a roleplay test,(thats why BSG has more recruits than we do:P) we are very far from having a simple "fighters+capships+traders army". The biggest problem I see about CR is that we are not very open to the community mostly because of the flaming that was here before. Trust me, all our not-ingame activity is not just writing fight reports here on disco forums.


Unselie, you are right about the 13 colonies thing. I am not gonna argue.
This is what I can say on it:
In the time of =BSG= / [CR] creation, which was more, than 1 - 1,5 years ago, when I even did not know such thing as FL exists, some guys formed up these two factions, that later connected together. In that times, BSG had more RP restrictions, than many other factions. The server changed and we came to the decision of changing our leadership and BSG tag to CR tag. Warhammer left disco. Mostly because of the way we did the change. He played Disco to have fun, to have some relax after work... He liked simple fighting, which was not enough for us. I feel sorry for booting him away like this, but its past now. We, CR have a lot of work to do. We want to become the best RP faction. We want to learn something from our mistakes. A fool is not someone who makes mistakes. A fool is someone who doesnt learn anything from his mistakes. Now, because our RP is ripped from a mindless TV serial, we have to throw all our work, memories, part of ourselves, behind us and start again?

We fly BSG ships, we use BSG ranks, we have BSG history, very similar to Solar system history. Thats everything BSG in our roleplay. From the momment the rag-tag fleet entered Omicron Delta, we have OUR RP. The stone changes. Dont judge what you see on the surface. Judge what is inside. Forget the past.

BSG is roleplaying its own way, CR too. We both are colonials, we fly similar ships. We have homes near. Thats everything we are the same in. It is not perfect, no doubt. But what it is, at least what I see it is: A roleplay not based on plain PvP or RP brought here before. We are original. As Jinx said, we are close to a 5th House. What I said here may not be easy to understand the way I meant it, but I hope you, community will tolerate what we keep secret or unclear for you.
