The attempts to gain ground in Gallia haven't been successful so far. With Torino base we have an outpost at the borders of their space, but currently it more or less serves only as a storage depot for nonmarketable cardamine. In the past year we have sold less than 20.000 units of cardamine in and around gallic space. Our few patrols rarely encounter hostile ships and most times we avoid the contact.

We lack contacts and business relations, aswell diplomatic relations.
The maltese-gallic border is relatively quiet, therefore we could just ignore it but I still see the possibilites. Considering what influence we have in Liberty and Kusari due to cardamine, gaining influence in Gallia would mean another source of technology, allies, resources and information.

The xenophobic attitude of the gallic people is a quite hard burden in order to expand their. I think although it's difficult, nearly impossible, it might just take some more time.
We had contact with quite some gallic people during our deployment to Gallia and although most of them attacked us on sight, not everyone was that hostile. The gallic version of the Junkers seem to share at least one trait with their sirian fellows; they do their business and let other do theirs.
That would make them possible business partners. Attempts to contact them in the past were semi-successful. We managed to contact the representative of a small junker group, but haven't heard of him for over six weeks.
In January this year we brought supplies to a Brigand freeport in Franche-Comte, but our gift didn't had the effect we wanted it to have.
Few months later there were rumors they are considering to go at war with the maltese nation.
There is currently no contact to the Brigands.

In order to change the current situation, a long term presence of outcasts in Gallia is necessary. We obviously have to look for contacts, since they won't just come to us. The operation "Vagari" consists of several parts:

1. The deployment of a ship acting as forward outpost into inner gallic space.

Currently assigned ships:
Novus Spes; Studies and Observations Group Gallia, light maltese reconnaissance cruiser
Sacajawea; shuttlecraft

2. Establish contact

We are going to gather as many information as possible. We will try to get people working for our cause or even insert our own people into the gallic society. Although we currently lack the required information of their society to send in a successful spy.

3. NOX

The gallic black market is dominated by a organic drug called NOX.
This is our main business competition there. I think it might be a job for a marketing agency to make Cardamine tastier then NOX, but it would be definitely good for our business if people would take their cardamine instead of NOX.

The chances may seem not so good, but future is not determined yet.
