IMG don't care, sure. But their security cares, because we fight Outcasts constantly, and smuggling Cardamine gives them advantage in those fights.
By cutting their supply, BSG can get the upper hand and defend Taus more effectively.
We are living on IMG bases, we are living in their space, but we are simply a group that figts off Outcasts when needed.
And CR are not security force of IMG.
They are more like their own House, they make their own rules in Taus.
And we, by cooperating with them, have learned that smugglers should be stopped.
Cardamine smugglers.
And i believe it wouldn't be too hard to get their approval.
It is fairly simple.
You are entering OUR space with DRUGS that pays your ships and repairs.
We never ever tried to stop a Smuggler out of Tau-37 or Tau-23.
I believe it is much more OORP for Smuggler to say "You have no right to scan me!" then to drop his cargo and report me after it.
And yet, no one has done so.
All i'v seen is "We smugglers have our rights, you can't ask my drugs!".
It's silly. That's not the way to talk IC.
Anyway, as someone suggested, we can place a bounty, and then fulfill a bounty.
Loopholes, yes, but it's the same you'r doing/speaking.
@Dab - Excuse me, Smugglers are flying in "Pirate Trains" near Java.
You are as disguised as a Tank trying to infiltrate in Hostage situation in Bank for example.
And we mostly scan only red contacts. Red contact meaning Outcast tagged players.
Pirate train + Outcast tag? Yes, disguised as hell.
Thank you very much.

It is every Corsair's responsibility to die a beautiful death in defense of Crete, regardless of how OORP or how capwhoring the opposition is. Launch your fighter, joust the battlecruisers and die a beautiful death. Then, drink it down in the bar.
