Home under the sun

[Heraklion]

A small two person shuttle lands on the spaceport closest to the Home under the sun, the shuttle is light grey and on the side there is a black sacred chao painted on with underneath the word "Discordia". The small door opens and a blonde woman in a red dress steps into the sunlight followed by a man in something that looks like a military uniform without markings on it.

The woman, Emmanuelle Mimieux, is the captain of the Discordia which is currently in orbit of Gran Canaria. She looks at her companion "Would you be a dear and try to find us a taxi Flint? I'll pass by the dockmaster to pay for our parking spot." Flint Stone, former Liberty Navy now serves as head of security aboard Discordia. He just nods and they both head their way and after about 15 minutes they meet again at the gate of the spaceport where a taxi is already waiting "Excellent job Flint!" they both get in and Emmanuelle hands the address to the driver. As the taxi moves through the landscape the two passengers don't share alot of words, Flint takes a breath "There's something I need to tell you..." Emmanuelle looks at him from the corner of her eye while he looks for the right words "As you know I always wanted to grow... And I feel like I can't do that as head of security, I want to have my own ship one that and that's why... Well.... I'm leaving, I've been talking to the captain of the Astral Queen and he said he would be happy to have me if you agree." He looks at Emmanuelle hoping she would say yes, she thinks for a while "Well it sure comes as a suprise... But I do not own you and although I hate to see you go there isn't much I can do about it now is there?" Flint wasn't exactly sure this was a yes or a no, but he thanks her anyway and let's the subject be.

After a short while they arrive at the house and after paying the driver they get out and walk up to the front door, Emmanuelle rings the door bell but no one came to open the door "Maybe no one is home?" She looks over her shoulder at Flint and says with a tone that has sarcasm all over it "You think?" She looks around to make sure no one is watching them and then takes a hairpin out of her blonde hair and begins to force the lock while Flint looks suprised "You're breaking and entering you know... How do you know how to do that anyway?" He couldn't help admiring her skill as she opened the door after less then a minute, he never got the hang of forcing classic doorlocks, all the Liberty navy ever thought him was to hack a digital lock. Without responding to his question she enters the house "is anybody home?!" When she didn't get an answer she walks further into the hallway and Flint follows her, he shuts the door behind them "You take a look down here, I will go upstairs."

Flint soon found his way to the the kitchen where he opens the door of the fridge, he spots a bottle of beer and reaches for it, he looks around to make sure Emmanuelle isn't around and unscrews the cap. At the meanwhile Emmanuelle is looking around a pink room, pressumable the room of the girl called Kiriko in Shizuma's diary. Both of them where to busy to hear the front door opening again, Ana returned from shopping and as she closes the door behind her she mumbles "I swore I locked the door earlier..." She walks straight to the kitchen to put away the groceries. Upstairs Emmanuelle got startled by a scream and she rushed downstairs, when she arrives in the kitchen she looks at Flint, who had his hands in the air with a bottle of beer in the left one and on the other side there was Ana, a hispanic woman who was pointing a large kitchen knife at him. Emmanuelle clears her throat to announce her presence, Ana hastly turns around and now points the knife from Flint to Emmanuelle. "Who are you?! What do you want?!" "Calm down s'il vous plaît." The fact that Emmanuelle spoke Gallic didn't really help and Ana started to panic. Emmanuelle practically yells to make herself hearable above Ana's screaming "We are here because of a woman named Shizuma Sakuragi, do you know her?!" Ana calms down a bit "Senora Sakuragi? She is dead..." Emmanuelle shakes her head "Not really, she is aboard my ship, she survived the destruction of Freeport XXI but she suffered a major concussion" Ana lowers her knife a bit "You... you are not lying?" Emmanuelle smiles "Of course not, why would I? My name is Emmanuelle by the way and that's Flint"

Time passed by as they talked, Flint who eventually got tired of all the talking decided to walk around the house for a bit. While the two women where caught in a conversation "They took away the children after senora Sakuragi was pressumed dead, I have no idea where they are now. But Kiriko is the current owner of this house so I'm trying to keep it exactly like she remembers it for when she returns." Before Emmanuelle could reply to that, Flint enters the room again and gestures at the fireplace "Do you mind if I light a fire?" He sounds as if he had a couple of beers to much, Ana nods and he gets to work. "So you really have no idea where the girls are? I believe meeting them is our best chance for Shizuma to regain her memo..." she was interrupted by a bang as a large flame reached from the fireplace all the way to the ceiling "uhoh..." Flint jumps back and the two women jump up from their seats "What did you do?!" "I... I think I used a little bit to much accelerator" he stutters. They try to put out the fire but it reaches around it so fast that they barely made it out of the room, by the time the fire departement arrived the house was entirely consumed by the fire.

It took almost an hour to douse the fire and by that time there was nothing left of the once so majestic house, Ana sits defeated on the sidewalk "Gone... it's all gone..." Flint keeps stumbling apologies and Emmanuelle sits down next to Ana "I am very sorry, but perhaps you could help us to find the siblings and try to have Shizuma regain her memory?" Ana slowly nods and Emmanuelle wraps an arm around her and helps her on her feet. After all three of them have been questioned by the fire chief he said they could go and that the insurance company would most likely contact the owner of the house, 'if' they can find her.
