This is a common problem. You may feel that you have an alliance with the Corsairs, but IMG as a whole does not, therefore your personal alliance with them doesnt amount to a hill of beans to any PC Corsairs on this server.

RepEx and the Corsairs hate eachother. I, in my RepEx fighter, the other day encountered a Corsair and started challenging him over sys comms. He responded back, "Why would you attack me, I should be green to you, you are to me." People need to understand that, as Gronath stated already, the only pieces of your diplomacy that mean anything to anyone else is your flashing faction and your ID, the others are not even known to the rest of us.
