First concern why hostile with out cast? This is purely from in character interactions I've had with them, whille scouting Tau for signs of Nomads or routes leading to Nomad territory.

Hoodlum, try not to get caught up on the BYOS. The reason is simple we have no funding or base of ops out side Omicron Minor, and you cant do much tradeing if restricted to those areas, so we bring what we have and none have more than a cruiser which we just all pitched in for and got. We have no Battle ships, but will take one when we are able some time away from now, I'm afraid. Additionally we would not be much of a intel and ezploration unit if we stayed home. This exploration put us at odds with Outcast, as well. We make contact to run legitamate cargo and nomads around serius to fund our operation. We do acknowledge Order ID and wear it.
This organization is a self funded deep cover CIA style operation, which does on occation make overt moves as well, so bring your own gun. We did not hvae other characters to gather wealth just to transfer to these and get us started, we four started from starfliers and worked our way to where we are, through negotiation, trade, battle, and running for our lives alot. Now we dont have to because we worked our way here not just do a big transfer from one to another. So please dont be so quick to judge, maybe have your ADMIN peers read as well and give their opinions.
I just know I worked hard to get where I am and would like a little considerstion.

Back to trade we move out of Omicron cuz it offers VERY little in the way of commodities.

The reason BS wont work is one they are not on often, (at least as BS characters) two they appear to be pure military ops, and we pattern ourselves after Orillion in story CIA deep cover, but we wear the Order ID to follow game rules, and are fine by it we just stay out of scanning range or try anyway.
