Lohingren's right there...It almost IS a fulltime job. I don't mind an occasional raid, but we have a lot harder time getting people on than both of our enemies, and we are under almost constant siege from either end of our space. We need room to breathe, and a few days in-between attacks would produce a much more desirable result, namely a lot fewer PO'ed Outcasts and a more even war.

Well, in that case, don't let the door hit your ass on the way out. Hell, if you want to fly a freaking Viper, there's a lovely BSG server over Yonder with a very interesting mod. Play that instead of forcing an alien and difficult concept on us, and stick to our server rules. If all I were here was for the ships I'd have been LONG gone to a different mod.

Okay, NOW I am annoyed. That Battleship has been around twice as long as YOU have, Discovery-wise, mate, as have I. She has been used in plenty of RP threads, and is pretty well a mainstay of the Malta Defense Fleet. (though less so since we got our new Battleship). Now, my signature Battleship was acquired on a set of very enemy-of-my-enemy under-the-table politics. It has been extensively Roleplayed for and has had no opposition since I got here. Indeed, I created her in a Roleplay where two of the other writers were administrators, and I never received challenge, in a period about two weeks into my career here, when I had NO political power or support whatsoever. In fact, we recently had a Bretonian Battleship go Corsair on us, a much shakier Roleplay than mine, indeed, since what Tic pulled was nothing but a defection. He didn't get any Admin challenge. In fact, I imagine if the =BSG= felt the need to appropriate a Bretonian Battleship they would have a very legitimate "I Stole It" reason (note, no Lawl added), because they are in fact hostile to the Bretonian sects, and they would likely not be challenged. The problem people have, mate, is that you're committing an action and setting a major policy and precedent, not appropriating a ship. THAT is a major thing.
If anybody still has doubt about the honor and legitimacy of my ship, I will gladly send a few messages and ask for confirmation from the policymakers, who have given this to me verbally many times before during the Battleship License conception and inception periods.
