Actually, it shows an engine trail, not a smoke trail. Looking closely, its obvious. Zoom in with paint even. You were in cruise, just barely, and then OPG was as well. Juan was WATCHING as your cruised away. You can lie to others, and even yourself, but you can't lie to a witness.

Rules are quite clear, you do NOT get to stay in the fight if you get into cruise (the timer counts to 100% startup and your cruise engine turns on) and no one chases you or disrupts you. I think the 4k distance of Scorn and OPG speaks for itself.
