HAMBURG SYSTEM
ROUTE CLEARANCE REPORT

1. MISSION: Complete route reconnaissance from Bering to New Berlin via the Hamburg system in order to enable follow on operations.

2. SUMMARY: Mission accomplished. Two routes through Hamburg have been proven clear as of this date. While this is not new information this update confirms the routes remain clear for use. Mission was accomplished 100% covertly – see comments below on capture of Rheinland Federal Police personnel. Based on how thinly patrolled this in route is I recommend a strike be planned on a high value target in Rheinland core space.

3. OUTLINE OF ROUTES:

a. Route Alpha:

Bering Jump Hole --> Nordheide --> Kielfeld * --> Hannover [Dark Side]** --> Sudheide --> New Berlin Jump Hole

b. Route Bravo:

Bering Jump Hole --> Nordheide --> Alsterfeld*** --> Sudheide --> New Berlin Jump Hole

c. Commentary:

* - Requires passage through open space past a trade lane
** - Care must be taken to avoid scans from Vierlande Prison
*** - Requires passage through open space past a trade lane
*** - Wedel Mining Station is in the Asterfeld

4. ADDITIONAL POINTS:

a. Security: I was spotted by a 2 fighter Rheinland Federal Police patrol in the Nordheide. I destroyed their ships and took both pilots prisoner. Both were delivered to the Battleship Mississippi for interrogation. I was able to jam their communications due to the interference from the Nordheide field. Please find attached a declassified capture image in accordance with standing order LSF-PO-224 suitable for transmission to the Liberty Navy or Liberty Police, Inc as required.

b. Activity: Only a single 2 fighter patrol of the Rheinland Federal Police was encountered in the Nordheide. The Alsterfeld contained sporadic Unioner patrols, particularly centred around their base at the Wedel Mining Facility. A lack of encounters with the Rheinland Military suggests their fighter wings remain held in reserve at the Battleship Westfalen.
