The above quote is the crux of what you're saying. But if that were true, then why did Stalin side with the US and Britain against Hitler? Because Hitler was the greater threat. Essentially it's more or less the same thing here.

Out of character, I'm all for the SCRA having a NAP with Bretonia while the Gallic war is on. This gives their RP and diplomacy a bit more depth, and is sensible since kill-everything factions are silly and a tiny group like the SCRA can't realistically hope to fight everyone anyways. It's an agreement that makes sense for both sides, and there's nothing wrong with that. Historically, successful revolutionaries have come to the same conclusion as well.
