The above quote is the crux of what you're saying. But if that were true, then why did Stalin side with the US and Britain against Hitler? Because Hitler was the greater threat. Essentially it's more or less the same thing here.

sry but you dont seem to know your history very well. it wasnt at all that simple. stalin signed a non-aggression pact with hitler, while being very aware of the ideological threat fascism posed to communism - both thrive on the same group (the worker) and they cannot co-exist in their true, ideological form within the same society. then hitler started infringing on russian territory before finally launching an attack on russia. at that point stalin and russia was part of the allied powers, not because they necessairly saw Hitler as "the bigger threat", but because they were defending their country from a very real physical threat as well as an ideological threat.

SCRA arent defending their country, they are supporting one of the monarchical houses that are in closest proximity to their home. It's a different scenario altogether. true you can say they are defending their system "by proxy" by fighting in Leeds, but from an ideological stance whats the difference between being threatened by one heinous tyrant (the queen of bretland) and another (the king of gallia)?

its also very true that the biggest direct evil form of rule in marxist/communist ideology is in fact monarchies. 'historical materialism' and all that, the 'mode of production' under monarchy was/is direct slavery (and that is bad), according to Marx' materialist reading of Hegel's idealistic concept of history.

naturally the SCRA can have adopted a watered-down ideology and forgot all about the sociological underpinnings, and be "woodstock-commies"/"rebels without a cause" sure, but it would be kinda cool if they adapted an intellectual/ideological approach concerned with uniting workers across the houses.
