alright but wouldnt you say the queen would also be in line to jump your system, her being an oppressive tyrant and all? i would expect the brets to have more detailed knowledge on your location than the gallics, the brets being a long-time neighbour and all.
thing is communism as ideology is not compromising. at all. all other forms or rule are perceived as enthrallment and the key element for communist societies is solidarity - solidarity with workers everywhere, thats the main priority, the kit that glues societies together. in the light of that, the SCRA would be in bed with the devil and be betraying all their ideals (as well as the poor workers of bretonia) by fraternizing with this horrible imperialistic foreign power. communism doesnt offer middle-ground, not only on an ideological level, but also on a very real level - history has shown us that too.

on the other hand its fair enough, its a computer game and SCRA should have a slice of both the main story line and the pews. the game suffers from lack of activity in most systems, which i could imagine is a problem for factions like the SCRA.
i still remember the days where you would log and raid everything from the omegas to omicron alpha, and thats what i would like to see. an all-out angry coalitions bent on setting the working class free anywhere in sirius and executing anyone who oppose the effort (that includes corporate pilots unwilling to dump all their cargo).

i also want to add that the GRN are fighting a really wide assortment of ships, and the GRN cap line isnt exactly stellar especially against smaller more agile ships. with everybody so keen on ganging up on the bret side, you run the risk of having no gallics to shoot at simply because people will be discouraged* - its something devs/admins/storyline-bosses should think about. and to be honest i think it would make sense both in-rp and balance-wise for SCRA to stay classy and stay out.
* although personally i like the srs bsns approach on the Leeds battlefront, its like taking the training wheels from liberty off. its just a tad bit too muddled with strange alliances and tech combos (it seems council shut down their shipyards and outsourced it to the Colonials ). Oh and that damn nomad makes me LOL everytime I see it, sorry. If you imagined all those ships and strange alliances were between unofficials and indies, I'm pretty sure you would laugh a bit at it too...
p.s. also dont put so much emphasis on form over content on the forum. there's language differences and some things you would say in one way in your native tongue, but it comes off hostile or offensive in another language where your vocabulary is much more limited. its unavoidable that those who command English to a level where they can both convey their thoughts and opinions accurately as well as be witty hold much more power on the forum than those who don't. see this thread and how it gets derailed - a witty skilled native English-speaking person wouldnt be the subject of this kind of daftness, or would at least be better equipped to repel the idiocy/spam. try to read the meaning behind posts and take it for what it is, rather than just take offense and nit-pick over tone, grammar and whatnot. we're a multicultural community, we should celebrate that.
