true but the fact of the matter is that you could have conjured up a similar but opposing plotline, scra cohorting with gallia to thwart their shared next-door neighbour, an imperialistic monarchy in the immediate vicinty of SCRA-land, in the return for the scra keeping their little system and pewing annoying pirats in the omegas. besides grn cant hold all that territory if they are still on the offence, scra would know that and take advantage of it, inciting communist revolts in weaked bretland and planting seeds of discords in the gallic populace.

its easy to make up some story line or grand idea to rationalize your actions, problem is when you can easily substitute that grand idea for another and it would make just as much/little sense.

Yes, that was also something we considered, Anaximander, but we certainly don't deserve ridicule because we chose one course of action instead of another.

So many assumptions and accusations were made toward us in this thread and it's really quite ridiculous.

As outsiders/nonmembers, the fact is, you guys don't -know- what's going on behind the scenes, you may not know the RP background, but that doesn't merit ridicule.
