From the ashes!
Restoring the La Falange D'oro

Contents
1. Corpse inspection

Claes Leslie (Squad Leader) played by Dii 'Hidamari'€ Stedman
Camilla Petrucci (Second in Command) played by 'Redon'
Esteban Alvarez (Third in Command) played by 'Ander_k'
Henrique Ferreira (Squadron Pilot) played by 'Kalan Yamato'

Preface
The "La Falange D'oro", the 'new' flagship of the 75th Mosquito squadron, given to its leader -Claes Leslie- by Martino Perez, leader of the 101st Ghosts of Razgriz.

-However-

The RM-2A class Storta is not at a condition one would consider flyable and is probably worth more as scrap at this point. With half of the ship missing and the half that remains full of holes, what will the 4 Mosquitos find inside this combat relic?

Unable to afford a Storta fresh off the production line Claes was forced to accept this vessel in the hopes of restoring it to its former glory.

1. Corpse inspection

Claes Leslie: Camilla.. Report, how’s she look..
Camilla Petrucci: Uh... huh?
Claes Leslie: The ship, you can see it can’t you?
Camilla Petrucci: The... oh, it's... it looks pretty damaged, I think.. Pretty nonetheless...
Claes Leslie: Hmm.. How bad do you think it is..
Camilla Petrucci: *sighs* I'm not an engineer, Claes... but I bet it'll be expensive to repair.
Henrique Ferreira: My god, look at this thing... I'm impressed it actually turns on. The engines really do look busted. They don't even give out any light.
Camilla Petrucci: Claes... did signor Chenzo give it to you?
Claes Leslie: No, signore Perez did.. it was recently towed here
Camilla Petrucci: Oh! Did he tell you anything about it?
*Claes breaks through the nebula and see’s the distant giant, rapid spinning worm hole*
Claes Leslie: m...madre.. look at that... what is that spinning thing...*shivers*
Camilla Petrucci: It looks scary!
Henrique Ferreira: I dunno, but I think we really shouldn't go and touch it.
Claes Leslie: *blank look* that goes without saying....
*Henrique laughs*
Claes Leslie: Th..This place is really amazing
Henrique Ferreira: I'm not sure, but the shields just turned off by themselves.
Claes Leslie: Dios...
Camilla Petrucci: What are you talking about, Henrique?
Henrique Ferreira: Oh, crap, wait. I was targeting the wrong ship. *facepalms with his helmet in the way*
Claes Leslie: hell.. what is this.. half the damn ship is missing..
Camilla Petrucci: *sighs* It's definitely not the shiniest one around here.
Henrique Ferreira: I can't detect any weaponry either.
Esteban Alvarez: Though it has some repair bots left inside
Camilla Petrucci: You know, the Fantasmi doesn't even sound so bad now that I look at this
Henrique Ferreira: Well, we haven't seen the inside of this ship yet.
Claes Leslie: Right... Im not reading any pressure signs.. you all have suits, right?..
Camilla Petrucci: W..what?
Claes Leslie: A neo skin suit Camilla.. so we can inspect it... im already wearing mine.. feels like im about to go diving.
Henrique Ferreira: Are you suggesting we have to go inside that dump in open space?... "Open space"... inside a capital ship docking thingy, but still...
Esteban Alvarez: Why not? It can be an interesting experience.
Camilla Petrucci: I can't climb out of here, what if I slip or something, and fall into that huge hole... *Camilla points at the giant spinning worm hole*
Claes Leslie: Aw, wittle baby Camiwa.. Don't be ridiculous
Camilla Petrucci: Ah, shut up... It's not funny!
Henrique Ferreira: Well, uhhh... sure, let's dive in...
Esteban Alvarez: We can split in groups, one team goes to the bridge.. The other to the engine room
Claes Leslie: Esteban, hold Camilla's hand and head to engineering, see if you can get the lights on at least. Henrique and I will head to the bridge
Esteban Alvarez: By your order, Comandante
Henrique Ferreira: The bridge... sounds good to me. Shields deactivated, preparing to jump over.
*Claes opens the cockpit and emits a boost towards the ship, activating her magnetic grip shoes on contact with the hull*
*Henrique follows behind her, mumbling to himself* "Man... something tells me this is gonna suck..."
Camilla Petrucci: *sighs* Alright, I... I can do this, and look after myself.
Claes Leslie: hm.. well first we have to find a door... Otherwise this won't go very well...
Camilla Petrucci: Okay... how do we even get in here?
*Leaving his fighter and heading to the engine section Esteban boosts over to the Destroyer hull* "I think we can use the engine exhausts"
Camilla Petrucci: E..Esteban, wait! Do you know where you're going?
Esteban Alvarez: Don't worry it'll be ok... I dont think there is anyone aboard to hit ignition and make barbeque
Henrique Ferreira: I'll try to find an opening in the top of the ship...

Claes Leslie: ah! Henrique come
Henrique Ferreira: Hmm? You found a door?
*Claes looks at a very large scorched hole in the hull* "Well.. Sort of.."
*Henrique looks at Claes and then shifts his focus to the hole in question* "What the hell?! This thing has it's hull" breached?!"
*Camilla climbs onto the ship through and looks down the exhaust port listening to Henrique on the radio* "Si, why do you think we need this suit?"
Henrique Ferreira: I never thought the breach was THIS BIG, though... Anywho, let's get in there...
Esteban Alvarez: *static* I've found a maintenance trapdoor
Camilla Petrucci: Esteban, where are you? Ah, it's dark... *she grabs some sort of flashlight from her belt, turns on a switch and watches as the light floods a part of the room* I'm in... uh, it could be a storage, I'm not sure. It's empty.
Esteban Alvarez: Follow me, I'm like 20-25 metres ahead *waves a light*
Camilla Petrucci: Ahead where? *looks around* Oh, there you are. Have you found a way out of this room?
Esteban Alvarez: Yes the doors are operable, but I've never been on such ship before..
*Henrique slowly steps into the hole in the ship* I do not like to walk in 0 g... But when I can float freely without the fear of being lost forever, it's awesome...
*Claes walks down the hole and steps off entering the ship hull, a swirl of dust sweeping around her feet as she landed, she turned on her head mounted torch*
Henrique Ferreira: Ah, you brought a light, sweet. I kinda have one too.
Claes Leslie: hm.. Ah.. Si, well I didn’t know what the ship would be like after all..
*Henrique presses a button on his helmet that activates a flashlight in the top right corner of his visor* "I love this thing... good thing I had my helmet custom-built. Anyway, where are we again?"
*Claes pulls out a navigation cube and activates it, but it does nothing* "hm.. the ships power needs to be turned on before the map will show us where we are... did you ever serve on a ship like this before?"
Henrique Ferreira: I was in a Storta before, but nothing like this.
Claes Leslie: alright well let's keep walking..
Camilla Petrucci: "Uh.. it's difficult, we don't have a map either, do we..?" *she walks up to Esteban and points the light on the door*
Esteban Alvarez: No, but engine room is somewhere not far away
Camilla Petrucci: "What do you mean, it's operable?" *she presses a dark button at the side multiple times, but nothing happens* "We'll have to open this manually, won't we... Do you.. Know how that works?"
*Esteban takes a little crowbar from his belt* Its operable like this
Camilla Petrucci: Oh... *she smiles* Okay, I guess. Don't worry about the scratches either, this ship needs more than a new paintjob...
Esteban Alvarez: You know, violence resolved more conflicts than other ways together *opens the door using crowbar as lever*
*Camilla grabs one side of the sliding door and tries to pull it open*
Esteban Alvarez: Ok with door opened. Left or right?
Henrique Ferreira: This looks like some sort of hallway.
*Claes and Henrique they continued down the pitch black corridor with only their lights for guidance, a light sparked up ahead*
Henrique Ferreira: Huh? What was that?
Claes Leslie: What's that... do you see it..
Henrique Ferreira: I dunno, I'll go check it out. *Henrique walks towards the light source*
*the light stops sparking and a door opens loudly next to him and then jams, the sparks continue for a moment and then nothing, Claes reaches for her weapon and freezes* you alright?
Henrique Ferreira: H-hey, that door... it opened by itself! This place has running electricity! The sparks must've been from a severed cable or something.
*Claes pressed a few buttons trying to activate a console* "No... it was probably just a short.. or somthing.."
Henrique Ferreira: Well, I'll try to open the rest of the door...
Claes Leslie: This console is completely dead *she moves to the doorway where Henrique is* this the one that opened?
Henrique Ferreira: Yeah, but it jammed midway. I don't think I can fit in there. *Henrique tries to slide the door*
Claes Leslie: I wouldnt put yourself in there.. if the door decides to shut you will be crushed like a grape.
Henrique Ferreira: Alright, you... hnnnggg... just open...
*Claes grabs hold of the door and she pulls with Henrique*
*The rest of the door slides in the open position*

Camilla Petrucci: Phew... *Exhales* They're heavy enough, wait. *She grabs her flashlight again and looks around* Is this a corridor?
Esteban Alvarez: Si, and I think engine room will be that way *points*
*Esteban and Camilla stood briefly at the T intersection before Esteban started walking* I say right. Please follow me, Camilla.
Camilla Petrucci: Oh, okay! *She runs after Esteban who had already walked on* Don't forget to memorize a way out of here... Perhaps there are signs on the walls?
Esteban Alvarez: Lets search the walls it's possible to find an evacuation plan
Camilla Petrucci: Si.. Don’t get to far away please, I.. *she lights along the walls trying to find something other than panels and tubes, walking past a gap in the corridor through which a ray of light enters the dark space*
*Esteban continues along corridor, searching for plan or schematic*
*Camilla looks through the light of the gap and can see a corner of her own ship in space, and billions of stars in distance* "Esteban... Esteban? Are you there?" *She turns around and looks into the corridor*
Esteban Alvarez: Si, I'm here
Camilla Petrucci: It seems like we're still right at the outer shiphull... I'd say the engines are somehwat more in the center, si? *she says as she walks back towards him* Have you found anything?
Esteban Alvarez: No, not yet, but look this power cables going to the upper deck I think this is main voltage cables and it'll be reasonable to follow them.
Camilla Petrucci: Oh... *she runs her flashlight along the cable* D'accordo... Lead the way, si?

*Claes looks down the newly opened hallway* This one might lead us further into the ship, a stairwell should be further in leading to the observation deck or the bridge.
Henrique Ferreira: How can you be so sure?
Claes Leslie: Well on larger ships the only way to reach the bridge is via lift.. or the inner stairwells
Henrique Ferreira: Ah, that makes sense.
Claes Leslie: Since the power is out, we will have to assume there will be a stairwell further in. *Claes walked on ahead, the ship made strange creaking sounds as they walked*
*Henrique continues down the hallway slowly* Well, let's search for that stairw-- *glares at the wall, and his flashlight illuminates a sort of map* Oh well, look at this.
Claes Leslie: Hm? *she looks back*
Henrique Ferreira: A schematic of the ship!
*Claes walks back down the corridor to face the wall* "Ah.. I see.. the red highlight must be where we are. It doesnt tell us which way is which.. I suppose if you serve on the ship you would know that anyway.."
Henrique Ferreira: Well, it does tell us we're in Sector D8... which is quite close to the bridge. So there must be a stairwell or an elevator somewhere to take us to it in this same hallway. Or maybe in another one connected by this one...
*Claes wipes the map and points at it looking down the corridor* That's the door we just came through that way.. the stairs are.. *moves her fingers along the map around a few corridors* Here... which is.. that way *She looks away from the map and down the hall* Come.. there might be more of these around the ship if we get lost we just need to find one.
Henrique Ferreira: Alright... Don't you think we should inform the others about this?
*Claes walks onwards* well.. go ahead amigo.. dont need to wait for me..

*Esteban reaches a set or stairs heading upwards in the same direction as the massive power conduits* Si. Look there is a interdeck stairwell here, let's try them *climbs the stairs*
Camilla Petrucci: *Camilla points her flashlight along the length of the corridor, but the light is not strong enough to fill the darkness ahead* Si... *She turns around and follows Esteban up the stairs* I wonder how long it has been like this...
*The ship creaks gently as Camilla and Esteban explore*
Esteban Alvarez: This ship is so empty-- What was that? Hear it?
Camilla Petrucci: Who knows... *She sighs and looks into an open door at the side of the stairs, However, the room is too dark to make out anything but the corners of a table in the center of the room*
*slight static* Henrique to Group Two. Pay attention to the ship's walls. There could be schematics attached to them should give you an idea of where to go. *Henrique walks in Claes's direction*
Esteban Alvarez: Grazie Henrique, we also think so, but haven't found any yet
*Camilla steps back out of the room into the staircase* Come on, Esteban, andiamo... we don't have so much time.
Esteban Alvarez: Si. I think we are just one deck away from the ship axis, It's probably the best place for engines.
Camilla Petrucci: Where do we go next..?

*Team 1 continue their search for the bridge* "Hm.. there are no windows here.. strange.. *Claes reaches another doorway and stops, looking at it, she raises her hand to stop Henrique*
*Henrique comes to a halt and looks around him* "What's up?"
*Claes kicks the doorway and it immediately moved into a closed position with only a 1/4 gap in the opening making her step back* "Ha... somehow.. I knew it."
*Camilla points her light down the dark stairs they had just climbed up and sighs with an uneasy feeling and a scared look on her face*
Esteban Alvarez: See this cables? Lets follow them and look for doorways, engine room usually have big good blastdoors
Camilla Petrucci: ... Si...
Claes Leslie: *Esteban, do you read me? its Claes.. respond please* "Henrique help me open this.."
Henrique Ferreira: Alright.
Esteban Alvarez: *static* Si comandante, how's your search goes?
*Claes moved to the door to grab it and pull it open again speaking into the radio*
*Henrique joins and grabs the door's side pulling it in an attempt to pry it open*
Claes Leslie: "Esteban, the wiring to the doors appears to still be active in some parts of the ship, be careful when crossing open doorways if it shuts when you cross you are a gonner.. tell Camilla to be careful too, Claes out"

Esteban Alvarez: Affirmative, Comandante
Camilla Petrucci: Wha.. what does she mean?
Esteban Alvarez: There's still power we should be careful.. No dashing
Camilla Petrucci: Si, I am... Up the stairs now?
Esteban Alvarez: Si. Last stairs, I think. I've also heard about security systems being installed on capital ships to prevent boarding
Camilla Petrucci: Well.. it's not like anything works around here anymore, does it?
Esteban Alvarez: We can't say it for sure, but it looks like so.
*Camilla looks back at the open door, and tries to close it with the button, but again, nothing happens* See? *Suddenly, the button lights up and the door closes, but jams half way on a broken and bent piece of plating in the ceiling*
*Esteban Hastily adds another piece of garbage to prevent the door shutting completely*
Camilla Petrucci: "Wah! That scared me..." *She runs up the stairs after Esteban with unusual ease, having no gravity pulling her back* "I guess I was wrong..."
Esteban Alvarez: "Camilla, dear, please no more button pressing, laser burns aren't in our plans, si?"
Camilla Petrucci: Si, scusa...
*The deck they had now reached looks different. It's corridor is wider and taller than the previous few*
Esteban Alvarez: "I think we get to the right place. Where now left or right, hm?"
Camilla Petrucci: I don't think that was a room we're looking for, Esteban, it looked like... a conference room perhaps, I'm not sure.
Esteban Alvarez: Si, you are right, let's check it later, maybe we'll find some documents..
Camilla Petrucci: Si, we should hurry. Do you know where to go next?

*Claes and Henrique open the jammed door and step inside, a long corridor with windows on one side was presented to them*
Claes Leslie: Well... this gives a much better impression of where we are.. the stair well should be at the end of this corridor. *Claes continued down the corridor, dust swirling at her feet as she went, broken ceiling panels with mounted cannons inside lay silent along the corridor path* "This way must lead to the bridge, look at all these defences"
*Henrique orients his flashlight down the hallway but the beam does not reach the end, he checks out the deactivated turret defences* "Indeed."
*A turret lay silent in the ceiling as they passed it, the gun arms drooping downwards towards the floor, signifying its disabled nature, right behind the turret was a large fully closed doorway*
Henrique Ferreira: This must be it.
Claes Leslie: I don't think so.. Not yet, we hardly walked anywhere... I think.. *she began looking for a way to open it* this will just lead to more corridor..
Henrique Ferreira: Only one way to find out.
*Claes looked at a panel near the lower left of the doorway*, "Help me open this panel.." *she crouched down to get a hold on a lip of the panel face*
Henrique Ferreira: Is that thing held by screws or can we take it off easily? *Henrique crouches down to inspect clearly*
Claes Leslie: We will need to pull it off amigo.. get a hold.
*Henrique holds the lip of the panel to slide it open*
Claes Leslie: Alright.. One, two.. Three! *she pulls and her shoes magnetically lock to the floor giving better grip*
*The panel cover clicks and bends before being pulled off exposing the darkened controls, the lid being in Henrique's hands*
Claes Leslie: there.. *Claes takes out her weapon carefully*
*Henrique looks at Claes's hand holding the blaster and raises an eyebrow* Err.. you're not gonna...
*she crouches to the consol and opens the back of the blaster pulling a short wire from the consol and connecting it to the weapon*
Henrique Ferreira: What are you planning?
*Pressing a few buttons on the gun the lights in the corridor flicked for a millisecond* "If I can use this to power the door we can get through, otherwise we aren't getting through this way.. we will never open the door without power. This one is a different kind of door, much bigger. The others are just general access.. this is a blast door so we must have full power to open it."
Henrique Ferreira: Makes sense. But if you want to power up this door, I bet you'll need alot more power than just a Blaster's thermal clip...
*The turret just behind them stirred awkwardly and then looked down the path the way they had just came, becoming active*
*Henrique looks behind him and sees the active turret*
Claes Leslie: uh..... that didnt work too well..
*Henrique mumbles to himself* "please don't see us, please don't see us, please don't see us..."

*Esteban looks around, a little more certain of his bearings now that he was before, the door at the bottom of the stairs remained jammed open incase they needed to head back that way.* "I think that we've reached an main deck. It lays on the ship axis, so if my direction sense is right, than we will find engines right there." *points*
Camilla Petrucci: Uh, I hope so, Esteban... Alright.
Esteban Alvarez: Don't worry, this ship gives me creeps too, but everything will be fine. trust me *He says trying to set Camilla's fears at ease*
*Camilla walks behind Esteban while lighting the floor, trying to find something interesting*
*Carefully going along the corridor Esteban leads them both into blastdoor* "Look. We've found it. Now let's think, how we'll get inside
*Camilla looks up behind and stares at a huge part of the ceiling and right wall missing, exposing broken cables and pipes*
Esteban Alvarez: Hm, if we only have a laser cutter, but we don't. And its closed.
*Eventually she arrives at the door where Esteban is standing* Oh.. wow. Now don't tell me your crowbar will work on that? *She sighs* Merda... what now?
Esteban Alvarez: No I've heard about some crowbars with +5 enchantment, but min is a simple crowbar and I also have no laser cutter
*Camilla chuckles lightly* "Keep your jokes, Esteban..." *Pointing back at the gap in the wall of the corridor* "Perhaps we can try to climb around it..?"
Esteban Alvarez: Hm si, if we can't go through doors, we should think about going through walls, ceilings or floors
Camilla Petrucci: So.. *she points at the huge hole in the wall* I think whatever did the damage... It ripped straight through the hull and walls, there's a room next to it too.
Esteban Alvarez: Si.. Let's see. You should go first, cause you are slender than me.

*Claes looked back at the turret which faced away from them currently*
*Henrique whispers to Claes* C-C-Claes... that thing is moving...
*A red torch light was being emitted from the between the duel barrels*
Claes Leslie: Uh... merda.. *She took a piece of gum and threw it gently down the corridor*
*Henrique looks at the gum as it drifts slowly down the corridor*
*Once the gum entered the Red torch light the turret activated and began to fire on it until there was nothing left. It then began to actively sweep the area slowly in a 360 arc looking for further targets*
Henrique Ferreira: Oh god, it's scanning for more things to shoot... Wait, I have an idea.
*Claes quickly turned back around as the red glow moved around towards where Henrique was standing, she was trying to disable the connection without electrocuting herself*
*Henrique is crouching near Claes, and he reaches for his belt, taking off a small white ball with blue stripes and a red dot on it's north and south poles*
*The turret stopped dead as Claes killed the connection, her weapon overloaded and exploded with a smallish pop* "Ah! cazzo!"
*Henrique realizes the turret is dead, but he still had clicked the ball* "Oh, merda!"
*Claes looked at Henrique..* "What the hell is that...... you didn't..."
*Henrique vigorously throws the ball to a small opening on the turret's top, it discharges with an electrical explosion inside the hatch making the turret fall from the ceiling the electrical discharge knocks out both of their flashlights*

*Camilla sighs as Esteban asks her to go first into the hole* Ok then... *She says unasured as she climbs through the gap carefully, pushing some debris out of the way and paying attention not to cut her suit on any sharp edges from the deformed panels and metal* -
Esteban Alvarez: I'm right behind you ready to help *he said inadvertently faced with Camilla's peachy behind wiggling in front of him, not minding one bit as he followed closely behind her*
Camilla Petrucci: *She holds a steady grip on a broken pipe while she inspects the room with the flashlight in her other hand* "Uh... Look Esteban, this could be the engine room already... at least, I don't know what this machinery is."
Esteban Alvarez: Let me see. I think cruiser engines aren't so different from transports.
Camilla Petrucci: Careful, there's a lot of debris around..
*Esteban moves closer to Camilla to look over her shoulder*
Camilla Petrucci: Come on through, amico.. *She climbs into the room*
Esteban Alvarez: Ah, we've found it. *Waits till Camilla get into the room, then follows her*
Camilla Petrucci: What are we even looking for, Esteban?
Esteban Alvarez: An engine room, a heart of a ship you can called it
Camilla Petrucci: Si, but... I'm no engineer, Esteban.. And this looks like too much work even if I was...
Esteban Alvarez: If we'll be a little lucky we can empower some emergency systems.. But it'll take lots and lots of work to make this ship run again.
Camilla Petrucci: Oh... okay, is there anything I can help you with?
Esteban Alvarez: Si lets search for a min console, so I can run some tests
Camilla Petrucci: If it works, you mean?
Esteban Alvarez: Please be careful mind defence systems, some may still work, I believe. There is power in the some wires.

*Claes and Henrique sat in silence, the lights coming through the large deck windows were the only light source available*
Henrique Ferreira: Phew, that was close.
*Claes pushes Henrique in annoyance* well done..
Henrique Ferreira: Hey, the turret was rotating in my direction! Also, what the hell? The charge shouldn't have knocked our lights dead. At most it would've disoriented the turret and would get it to kill itself....
Claes Leslie: They are electrical.. you threw an electrically charged grenade practically at yourself
Henrique Ferreira: Except I threw it on the turret!
Claes Leslie: The turret is right there! *she points at the turret maybe 2-3 meters away*
Henrique Ferreira: Ah...
Claes Leslie: forget it.. *Esteban do you read me*, Henrique you better not have killed the radios too or we are in trouble.
Henrique Ferreira: Well... it could be worse... our life support could shut off...
*Claes folds her arms* yes, wouldn't that be good..
Henrique Ferreira: But it's weird, I am absolutely sure that I packed up SMALL Electrical Grenades.
Claes Leslie: It's not 'small' you needed, its was 'LOCAL'.
Henrique Ferreira: I'll keep that in mind next time...
Claes Leslie: "Small is still several meters for electronic disturbance.. local is really small." *A minute passed and Claes had tried her longer distance radio a few times but to no avail* "I don't believe this, Esteban can't hear me.. you try."

*Camilla points her flashlight at the gap in the wall they climbed through*
Henrique Ferreira: *Henrique to Group Two, do you copy?*
Esteban Alvarez: *static* Commandant, I've got some faint signal was that you? Repeat
Henrique Ferreira: Hot dang, I hear 'em! Faintly, but still...
Claes Leslie: You hear him? I didn't hear anything.

Camilla Petrucci: I think all the wires here are broken... Perhaps on the left side of the ship? *Camilla said inspecting the wall*
Henrique Ferreira: *Esteban, was that you? Respond to this call.*
Claes Leslie: Give them a sit-rep.. we need the power on to open this door.. and tell them not to touch any panels there are hidden defences everywhere.
Esteban Alvarez: Esteban here. Henrique how it goes? *static*

Henrique Ferreira: "Ah, Esteban! Gracias a dios... uhh, we're stuck in this hallway, we're just next to a door that supposedly leads to the bridge, but we're out of power, and I kind a... screwed the electrical everything in this sector... *Claes could be heard complaining faintly through Henriques ear piece* Si.. we are lucky the door had no power to begin with or you would have shorted that too...
Henrique Ferreira: But anyway! We need power back on this hallway. And be careful about those control panels and consoles! You might've noticed that there are some nasty turrets that shoot anything that moves hidden everywhere. They probably don't recognize our IFFs or are not configured for so to begin with.
Camilla Petrucci: Wha.. Turrets?! *Camilla squeaked in surprise*
Esteban Alvarez: Got it, we are inside engine room, as soon as I'll find main console I'll try to help you.
Henrique Ferreira: Alright, roger that. Thanks a lot. Henrique out.

*Camilla attempted to settle her nerves with a question to reassure herself* There's... no turrets inside an engine room, si?
Esteban Alvarez: "Camilla it's a military ship, it has turrets everywhere" *Esteban said throwing her reassurance to the wind* "And also all important systems are doubled at least, so this broken wall wouldn't stop us from empowering this ship"
Camilla Petrucci: Oh... if you say so, si.
Esteban Alvarez: Now we are searching for a main console. Carefully. *Esteban advised her and continued to search*

*Claes stood thinking about the turret, it had shot even a piece of gum so something must have gone seriously wrong on board, Henrique closed the radio to team 2 and turned to Claes*
Henrique Ferreira: I guess they got the message.. Hm? what's up?
Claes Leslie: I think the ship was set to the highest emergency level, the captain obviously knew that anyone who was going to be alive, was in a certain location, and everyone else was a target.
Henrique Ferreira: Wait, what do you mean "everyone else"? I thought this ship was de-commissioned. Or, a "pile of scrap", as some liked to call it...
Claes Leslie: Yea, prematurely decommissioned from the looks of things.. I wonder why.. look at it.. it's clear a battle took place on this ship and around it in space.
Henrique Ferreira: Outcast space too, considering it's here in Corsica..
Claes Leslie: I saw tow markings on the front before jumping onboard, it was probably towed from the taus
Henrique Ferreira: I suppose. *Henrique opens up a pocket on the left side of his suit at torso level and gets some cylindrical figures*
Claes Leslie: The scuttle mechanism was probably.... jammed... merda.. Henrique contact Esteban.. quick! tell them not to turn the power on
Henrique Ferreira: I don't suppose we could use these... Wait, what?
Claes Leslie: Just do it!

*Esteban walks further into the room searching for the main power consol, or a secondary one to restore basic power*
Henrique Ferreira: "Henrique to Esteban, do you copy?! Dios mio, DO NOT turn on the power!"
Esteban Alvarez: *static* "Si. I won't do it until I run some tests"
Henrique Ferreira: "Don't do any sort of tests or anything, dude. Just don't touch the power."
Camilla Petrucci: ...what's wrong, Henrique?
Esteban Alvarez: On reactor status first, on wiring status second
Henrique Ferreira: Just don't touch anything.

Claes Leslie: what did he say? just tell him to wait for my signal..
Henrique Ferreira: "Just... wait for Claes's signal."
Henrique Ferreira: He says he has to run some tests first... Before trying to put the power back on...
Claes Leslie: Alright.. .Come on, we have to find a way to the bridge, maybe we can get to it from outside if we have to.
Henrique Ferreira: I told him not to run anything.
*Claes nods* If he turns on the power every turret in the place will also turn on, not to mention the potential for a self destruct to still be in count down before the power was hit
Henrique Ferreira:[/b][/color] "DO NOT do anything to the power... like... just don't touch anything that could potentially turn it on..." *Henrique said into the long range communicator with a fearful but stern tone before turning back to Claes* "Self-destruct?... You mean this ship was on a self-destruct sequence before it was disabled?
Claes Leslie: Si.. self destruct.. *Claes begins to make way back down the corridor and stops*, come on we need to get outside, we can't stay in here with no lights... unless you have flares?
Henrique Ferreira: I got some batteries... I guess these could light up any sort of conventional flashlight.*he says confidently before raising an eyebrow and follows Claes* But, why would it self destruct...?
Claes Leslie: Why would the captain give the ship to the colonials.. And yes it's too bad you overloaded the circuits so no amount of batteries will turn our lights on now..

*In the engine room Camilla walks around a corner and recognizes the enormous blastdoor, only now they were inside the engineroom* Esteban, look... this is the entrance, there must be some control panel close, si?
Esteban Alvarez: Wait don't touch it
Camilla Petrucci: Huh..? What's wrong? It's running anyway...
Esteban Alvarez: I think we haven't enough power to run blastdoor servo
Camilla Petrucci: That's okay, we can get back the way we came. Esteban, see this panel here? We could check the status on the power supply, si?
Esteban Alvarez: Camilla please wait, I'm thinking about the turrets *Esteban Notices a console with a single LED* I think I've got a jackpot. Active console on standby.
Camilla Petrucci: Turrets..? *She runs her flashlight along the ceiling and walls* I don't see any.
Esteban Alvarez: Where would you place turrets if you design this room?
Camilla Petrucci: If I de... why would I put turrets in here?
Esteban Alvarez: Lots of reasons engine crew mutiny for example, Enemy boarding team
Camilla Petrucci: *She sighs* Oh.. well, take a look on the panel? ..Do we need a password for it?
Esteban Alvarez: It's possible but not obligate, we have a big chance that crew leave ship in hurry so they leave their workstations as is.
Camilla Petrucci: Well, let's have a look, si?

*Henrique protested to Claes whom was still very unhappy about his mess up with an EMP grenade*
Henrique Ferreira: That's why we could find a flashlight somewhere within the ship and use these to power it up!
*Claes walked to the windows and looked for a crack or gap* well, good luck finding one in the pitch darkness.
Henrique Ferreira: Oh, I know.
*Not having much luck with the transparent steel windows Claes turned back down the corridor* "no good.. we will have to go out the way we.. came? huh, what is it?"
*Henrique unholsters his Plasma Repeater, and exposes the thermal clip which gives a dim light* "Oh... no good."
Claes Leslie: come on.. lets head back and hope Esteban doesn't turn on the power before we get off this corridor or we might get a bit hot under the collar *Claes holds Henriques hand for safety in the dark*
Henrique Ferreira: Oh, I just remembered!
Claes Leslie: what is it..
*Henrique swiftly searches his multiple pockets in vain of finding something* "Ah, found it..
Claes Leslie: what did you find?
*Henrique takes off a greatly glowing stick from one of his pockets* "This is a glow stick... it... glows and gives a green light. It's quite powerful, too!"
Claes Leslie: I can see that henrique.. do I see a 'Club Ibiza' logo on the base of it there.. *she points with a grin*
Esteban Alvarez: *Static* Henrique. We've found active console. What's your status? *Esteban says into his long range radio trying to contact team 1*
Henrique Ferreira: This isn't mine... this is actually my niece's... but ok, let's move. This should give us light for at least an hour and half.
*Claes lets go of his hand now that there was light* lets go that way.. *she points through a door they hadn't been though yet*
Henrique Ferreira: Sure, let's move.. I already don't like this place. *Walks towards the door*
*it seemed to be a corridor leading to the other side of the ship, there were several scorch marks and then a body the body was completely frozen solid, Claes looked away*
Claes Leslie: ..A colonial soldier..
Henrique Ferreira: Oh, @!#"/%!, N-no way! This ship was boarded?! *Henrique exclaimed in shock, standind and looking at the frozen body* "Henrique to Group Two, sorry for the delayed response. I found a glow stick in my pocket and we have light For at least an hour and 28 minutes. We came across a body of a Colonial Soldier! This ship was boarded!"
Claes Leslie: lets... keep moving..
*As henrique approached the body one of its arms fell off and shattered against the deck floor.*
Henrique Ferreira: Ew, gross. *Henrique still examines the body for any goods*
Claes Leslie: Henrique... leave the dead alone...
Henrique Ferreira: Oh please, it's a Colonial soldier. *He doesn't find anything of interest* Rats. Could've had a flashlight or something... *Henrique leaves the body alone and follows Claes*
