SUBJECT: Report

Our patrols in Tau-23 gave us early warning about combined IMG and CR forces heading to Tau-37. Our quick response force intercepted the enemy in Tau-37, and destroyed a CR gunboat, an IMG bottlenose gunship and a CR cruiser. @1, @2, @3, @4. While our fighters were engaging remaining enemy fighters, I ordered our gunships to return to Malta. After the quick refuel we were alerted about a Council battleship and a cruiser, having penetrated Omicron-80 defense, entered Omicron Alpha. Their transmitters were emitting seemingly random designations, possibly to fool our sensors. They appeared to be heading to Omicron Beta but never made it there @5, @6. As we got communications from our forces about newly appeared GRN capital vessels in Tau-37, I gave our gunships the green light to jump to Tau-37 and destroy the invaders. Under the heavy interfence, we managed to destroy one of their cruisers @7 and damage another, but after the total system blackout the rest enemy capital ships never appeared on the sensors again. We suffered no losses in the battle.
