The Reunion

I landed my bird on the tarmac, the green lettering on the side briefly illuminating in the light which read "The Trueblood Raven". I opened the cockpit and climbed out to the ground, dusted myself off and caught a repairman just walking out. I told him the damages and paid him accordingly. He nodded and my ship got placed on a portable mover and moved into the shop. The Black Flag landed near the tarmac I had landed on. It was a pitch black sabre with only the red flag on the side. The man was impossible, and more headstrong than his lawful counterpart. Bastard...

He gave me a brief stare before telling the repairman the damages as well, and then briefly threatened him if anything were to happen to the ship he would have him killed. I rolled my eyes, typical stereotypical pirate behavior. One of the main reasons I departed that lifestyle. I shook my head and walked into the bar, where I was intercepted by Marcus. He grabbed my shirt and slammed me against the wall.

"You better have a good explination for being here in the same universe I'm in Sayne." he snarled. I pulled out my gun and put placed it just under his ribs and armed it. The whine of the plasma conduits warmed up and then stayed at a steady high pitched drone.

"But for some reason, I don't have to tell you do I? Scarecrow." I replied in a jeer.

He winced at the name and pulled back, I kept the blaster trained on him for a few seconds after and placed it back in it's holster, keeping an ever present eye on him the entire time.

"We may not like each other, and I certainly don't like you, but in this time, we need to work together, but if you get in my way for the revenge against Merlow..." he started.

"Keep your pants on Scarman. I won't interfere." I replied. "Only one I'm after is your alternate ego. And even if I did get in your way for revenge against Merlow, there isn't much you could do."

He snarled and walked back out to where the rest of his crew was, he turned around before exiting.

"You're a bastard Sayne Jadyn, but..." at the next words he squinted his eyes down. "...well played." and exited back to the tarmac. I smiled and ordered a drink to go before walking back out towards my ship, with an ever present sneer on my face.
