Not only that, Niva is genius in its class. It beats even the newest completion and it is also may be the best off-road vehicle for small money ever built.
The older 2105/7 are not bad cars but there is no point in having one nowadays.They have zero comfort and also they eat too many fuel, not to mention that you have also bad chance to fix anything if it gets broken.Down there finding spare parts for such old model Lada would be quite challenging.
I personally would go with Niva because it is neat little beast. Also there is good chance that you can buy new one since they are still in production and get it shipped. You just need to go to youtube and search for the Niva and you would be really fast in love, it is brutal grinder- snow/mud/water it just moves everywhere.
