Is this meant to be Siracusa Base from Omicron Eta, or is the base moved/a new one placed in S13? Or have I missed some of the updates about the changes?
New OC and 'Sair bases in S-13.

> The Bison (Liberty Heavy Transport) appears to be only sold in Juneau (Alaska) and Grise Fjord (Ellesmere). This is a severe problem for Liberty corporate access. Aet: Oversight, thanks. Removed the Mammoth from Baltimore, and added the Bison there instead. Mammoth's sold on Manhattan one lane over anyway.
> "Ageira NOSALE" - we couldn't possibly get the Havoc sold at an Ageira base? Nope. There are no existing ship dealers on Ageira bases, 's why a proxy is used.
> Hellfire Legion - the ships on these two bases rearranged slightly:
* Planet Holstein
- Large Train (Crane)
- Large Transport (Albatross)
- Heavy Tanker (ST Miner)
I don't believe there's too much in the way of industrial manufacturing on that planet. Is it not possible to sell those ships elsewhere? Swapped the ship assignments for The Ring with Holstein's - means Holstein sells miner snubs, and The Ring sells these transports. Better?
> The Kingfisher HF is not sold anywhere in Liberty... unusual considering it's a CTE ship and it was sold on Manhattan previously. However, the infocard references Zoner designers - slight contradiction there, unless the design was then bought by a Libertonian manufacturer. (That's not an invitation to turn it into a Zoner ship. They have enough, and it performs far better than the Falcon.) Kingfisher ain't a CTE design. It's a modified Stiletto, and internally references being a Zoner ship. I've kinda considered a Zoner HF and assigned it accordingly.
> Why is the CSV sold on Saint Paul, Minnesota? Why not?
> Zoners
* Pueblo Bonito G
- Zoner Carrier
- Zoner Cruiser
- Outcast Destroyer
Typo? Possibly meant to be Zoner Destroyer? No... they stole em. *shifty eyes* ... Typo fixed.
> I don't see much in the way of Mk 1 ships. Are they being phased out? Yep, MK1's are being rotated out. Noone uses those anyway.
Edit: Overall, the distribution appears to be well thought-out. We all appreciate the extra bit of sanity arising from having some ships more easily available. The best thing by far is not having the House Capitals sold outside of their respective Guard bases/systems.
Edit 2:
(12-19-2012, 10:06 AM)sindroms Wrote: I still suggest using a /restart command which only works on freeports and costs as much as the ship package.
Every freeport will be able to sell any civvy snub. If you want a roc, just get a ship there with $6,353,130 on it and /buy roc. It will kick you just like using /restart and when you come back, you have the roc.
Works just like the restart command. Only issue is that any rep you had on the ship before is lost.
Why write something up in FLHook when the game engine works fine for this already? It's not unreasonable to consider that not all Freeports will have every ship available - in fact, it's extremely unlikely.
