I'm happy to say that contingency plan omega was a success, and that... I'm shockingly surprised more than just the Sabre pilots joined us. Now... as I said in an earlier transmission, new directives will be coming through.
1.) Bretonian Authorities; I will not lie to you. We are deserters and traitors in the eyes of the Bretonian Crown, despite all we've done and the potential we can do. Former friends and wingmen will be shooting at us if we give them the opportunity. We will not fire upon a Bretonian ships and will immediately leave the area should these pilots turn hostile. If fired upon first... you have the right to defend yourself, though I do not wish to see Armed Forces or Police Authority ships shot down.
2.) Liberty Authorities; It's only a matter of time until the Liberty Navy and Liberty Police catch wind that we've abandoned our posts. They'll likely side with Bretonia. The same policy for the Bretonian authorities is to be followed here, the right to defend yourself if fired upon.
3.) Regarding Rank Structure; As of now, our ranks are abolished. You're no longer Commodores, Captains, Commanders and so forth. Remove the ranks from your uniforms if you haven't already. The medals and ribbons you've earned are yours to keep.
4.) Capital Ships; Two capital ships have left the primary Armed Forces fleet. The Faringdon, a Crecy Destroyer, and the Venona, a Liberty Siege Cruiser. Their commanding officers and crewmen have excellent service records and pledged loyalty to the Fifth. However, we will not be using these ships on the front lines unless it's deemed absolutely necessary.
5.) Further Operations and docking areas; Naturally all of Bretonia is off-limits, as well as Liberty. I will be attempting to secure alliances with the Colonials and the Council so we can continue our operations against Gallia. These discussions are currently in session. I'll attempt to get in contact with some friends within the Privateers and see if they'll be more than willing to work with us, rather than against us.
Lastly, I'm letting it be known now... once I am summoned to the court martial, I will be attending it. Admiralty and the War Cabinet are, to put simply, idiots for wanting to stall our operations against the very enemy that invades us, and I know for a fact that the Queen wouldn't want her kingdom to be occupied, especially where she would be executed during the first week of occupation. I plan to approach the court martial with a simple and cool headed request. That we be left alone to continue the war effort against Gallia. Unhindered by the Armed Forces, Police Authority and Bretonian Government as a whole.
Maybe they'll get an ounce of sense once they realized this fracture can be easily exploited by the Gauls... and in time will.
