If it's just about taking photos in space, you can do that anywhere. Also in conn.

Problem is that by implementing things such as this you install a false sense of security in some players, or lead them to believe that they have certain privileges or should be overly protected. It's actually one of Disco's problems, and one of the reasons for all the complaining we see on here. If things were unmoderated and admins/devs interfered less, people would conform to "space is dangerous" and simply just deal with it.

See a game like Eve, un-moderated and generally cut-throat. Sure you lose your ship on death, sure people kill you (and gank you a lot!) for no other reason than the fact that they can, but after getting used to that (that is lose 1-2 ships) you take it for what it is and deal with it. From my perspective it is one of those things that make Eve stand out from other similar games, and one of those things that make it exciting and dynamic. Disco could use some of that "tough love" pedagogics, it will school players to just deal with it and play the game.

I know people will say it's just one system, but it is the overall philosophy of it that I think is counter-productive. In-rp all systems are contested since Vanilla - to take oneself out of that setting to RP seems self-contradictory and very much seem like "bad roleplaying": You are putting yourself in an artificial situation that in no way corresponds with the in-RP reality of Sirius.

In short in my view it will not enrich the server in any way or shape. Rather the opposite.
