[Target: OSI Recruitment]
[Subject: Application]
Greetings, friends of the Omicron Supply Industries,
I would very much like you to consider this recruitment application. But let me first introduce myself. For those of you who never met me, the name's Kerrigan. Oniyuushi Kerrigan. My father was Libertonian, my mother was Kusarian, and I was born on Leeds. You could say, I was stateless from the very beginning. I left Leeds as soon I was capable of, and became a drifter for some years. I started smuggling the most dangerous routes. The more I felt lost and isolated from civilization, the more I felt myself. It was during the Nomads War, a time of change, but I had not interest whatsoever in that matter. I grew up away from all that.
Few years ago, I had piled up enough money to buy a "DL" Border Worlds Transport, and I felt my luck turning. I had my crew, and not so long after recruited my first employees, Sora Tokiha and Kenneth Monroe. A Kusarian and a Molly. Curious band or brothers. Like myself, they were pretty much stateless. We called ourselves the Eclipse Syndicate, and our creed was to smuggle everything we could to the most radical and dangerous groups in Sirius, in exchange for free-passage. It felt good being the boss for a moment. The only ennemies we had were the Corsairs, because we dealt mostly with the Hessians, back when Casablanca was still theirs. I'm pretty sure they forgot about us since then though. I personaly hold no grudge against them.
But then, on a profitable run to the Omicrons, my transport was attacked by Slomon K'Hara. I lost my ship, the cargo, and nearly my life. All four escorts were killed, including Kenneth Monroe, my underboss and dearest friend. May he rest in peace in heaven, where he's probably drinking whiskey with his molly deceased ancestors.
This was two years ago. The Eclipse Syndicate is pretty much dead, and I barely make a living with a kusarian Drone I bought some time ago. Now I figure it's time for a rebirth, and I'd very much like to join a company where my skills would be appreciated. I consider myself a decent trader, hell, even a good one. I've known Zoners for a long time now, and I consider myself pretty much a zoner in spirit. I hold OSI in great esteem, because I know it's because of you and every zoner there's still some places truly free in this reggedy universe.
And space is my home.
I expect to hear from you soon.
Sincerely,
Kerrigan
