Background Information: Elias was born to a single mother right on the onset of the Nomad War. At the early age of 5, he has had to endure the news of his father’s and grandfather’s deaths along with the rest of the crew of the capital ship they were serving on as repair personnel. Although not knowing either of those relatives, the blow the news dealt to his mother was almost palpable. After this, he has learned to fend for himself and has tried his hardest to make the life of his mother easier. At the age of 8, Elias began to assist his mother with overseeing repairs in a cosmo-port by talking to her underlings and ship captains, thus making things run smoother. The funds from his mother’s job gave him access to good education, which he was very thankful for and therefore always tried his best. Although his grades were quite impressive, his mother’s distance always took something away from his achievements. By the age of 17, he was studying as much as he could about fighting craft. His main goal at the time was to try to acquire his own vessel in order for his mother to have a son she could be proud of. The vague goal of his ventures with this vessel would be escort jobs. Elias has talked to a lot of experienced ship captains and therefore had a pretty good idea what he was in for.
Just as the idea was reaching its logical conclusion, his mother fell ill. Unable to perform her duties, she was relieved of her leadership occupation, the former being filled in by one of her underlings. Torn between saving money for medicine or for a new ship, his life became quite stressful. Losing the income from working along with his mother left him with few options. The Rheinland Military seemed a very good second choice after escort pilot with his above-average knowledge of everything to do with ships. In order to gather money for a decent ship and still have enough left over for his mother’s treatment, Elias called in all the favors owed to him by repair crew, their overseers, and the captains of the vessels he kept communications with. After making sure that his mother would be well taken care of, he took the remaining money with him and joined the Academy.
As always, the hard work paid off. After purchasing a Banshee and doing a circuit of most of the stationary Battleships for flight experience, Elias was deemed ready for the next step. Sharing his success with a few old contacts proved profitable, as one of them congratulated him with a substantial sum of money, which made it possible to purchase and outfit the next caliber of fighter vessels. Elias was ready to join the Military itself, if they would have him.
Basic Personality Traits: Very quiet, so much that people sometimes forget that he is in their presence. Soft spoken, and talks to the point, attempting to avoid as many formalities as possible. Not much for casual conversation, instead preferring to discuss some topic that interests him at length.

Honestly cannot remember at this point, must have been the community and the opportunity to play some more Freelancer after the official servers went down.
